“Surprising”

Very modern hotel located just on the ourskirts of Amiens near a very large commercial shopping centre which we found very handy. Hotel was very clean, had an excellent restaurant over looking a small swimming pool, handy on a hot day! Service was polite and quick, definately recommend.

A very decent 3 star hotel. Very good public areas and pool and reasonable room facilities. The room was large and well appointed, for its class. Staff were polite and helpful Excellent breakfast availsble at a fair charge.

“Functional, convenient ,pleasant good value hotel.”

Functional hotel in a very convenient location for the motorway system, and only a ten minute ride into Amiens. Helpful, pleasant staff. All that was needed in clean, well spaced room. Good value for money.

“Novotel Amiens Est”

Well appointed rooms including kettle and hairdryer, Well placed for the somme battlefield circuit, Take a flask, tea, coffee and dried milk as drinks are very expensive in France! Be aware that this hotel allows dogs to stay with owners. Restaurant is fairly average but there are restaurants within walking distance. Impossible to find hotel without a satnav. TV is confined to bbc worldservice if you don't speak french so take a book.. Overall an ok experience.

“Stay here, eat elsewhere”

The hotel was extremely comfortable. We decided to eat in ther restaurant. The menu was attractuive but the quality of the food was variable. My wife ordered a chicken dish. When she received it, it consisted of a slice of chicken about 20cm by 5cm and was so severely overcooked that half of was inedible. When we complained, the maitre'd expressed sorrow but little else. We felt that around twelve pounds for this was unacceptable but were completely disregarded.

“Terrible food”

The food was terrible. We ate dinner and had breakfast included. The service in the restaurant was bad and the food was awful. The rooms were very small and basic. Plastic cups for drinking. Parking was good and the reception staff were attentive.
