Check in was easy despite the language differences, to the room, average size but bright, adorned with nautical wall paintings, a good size bathroom and comfortable bed. Best of all was the cleanliness, it was as good as one would find anywhere, spotless! The location is good, just yards from a quiet seafront and an array of shops. Dinner was excellent albeit we found it was one of those restaurants where you are made to eat one course after another without stopping for breath. It spoilt what was a very good meal at a reasonable price. Maybe its popularity (there was not one spare table and some would be diners were turned away) is to blame. Breakfast was a different affair, a first class spread lacking for nothing and eaten at leisure. A great spot to spend a night (or more) if en-route to or from the Channel crossing points.
