“Great service and clean room... a bit further from EWR than expected”
The hotel was excellent. Very attentive staff, and clean rooms. Great breakfast. However, I was under the impression that it was closer to Newark Airport. The shuttle took about 30 minutes to show up, and then it was another 20 minute ride out to the hotel. I don't blame the hotel... I just needed to look at the map more carefully when booking.

“Good price, clean rooms, awful location, meager breakfast”
This is a good clean place at reasonable rates. However the neighborhood is extremely sketchy; I felt lucky my car was still there in the morning. There was a lot of broken glass in the parking lot from smashed bottles the next morning, and nondesirables lurking around the building at night. Once inside, it was a good experience. The front desk personnel were helful and knowledgeable, and pleasant (A+); they'd clearly been well-trained. The breakfast the next morning left a lot to be desired.
“Clean, Comfortable”
Stayed on our way passing through to NYC. Quick trip, but everything was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. No problems.
“Airport shuttle”
The airport (Newark) was farther than I had expected, about a 20-30 min drive depending on traffic. The hotel was great other than the drive. When looking for airport shuttle look for the Woodbridge shuttle, not the Fairfield Airport shuttle.
“Generally good stay”
We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was very good and was constantly replenished during the entire breakfast time. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only problem we had was that the exercise room was not available at the stated time early one morning, and we had to wait for a day manager with a master key to arrive and open the room. The night desk clerk did let us know when the room had been opened.
“Hit or Miss Shuttle Service”
This hotel was a reasonable price and distance from NYC. I booked the room after I spoke with the hotel twice to confirm that they have shuttle service to Rahway Train Station. After being told twice that they do, I booked the room. I spoke with the hotel at 11:45PM to let them know I would be in at 12:30AM and would need a shuttle. The lady said no problem, just give them a call when I get to the station. I got to the station, called the hotel, and was told that the shuttle was at the airport and I would need to wait 1 hour to be picked up because airport requests have priority over train station requests. I obviously took a taxi, but was very annoyed since the complimentary transportation was the reason I booked this hotel.
