“A gem in the West Country”
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay where we were also guests at a wedding held at Cadbury House. The food was excellent at both the wedding breakfast and the next morning. Couldn't have had better. The room was also modern and exceptionally clean. The setting was also lovely.
“Excellent Hotel”
We picked this hotel as we had an early morning airport pick up so wanted somewhere not too far away. The standard of the hotel overall was excellent, with very well equipped and comfortable rooms, good leisure facilities and a choice of two eateries; one formal and the other informal. We had paid a bed & breakfast rate but were checking out too early to utilise this service. However, we were offered and given a take-away breakfast which I though was very impressive. The hotel is only a 15 minute drive from the airport but was also only about 20 minutes from the centre of Bristol so very well placed for any stay and is a beautiful hotel so I would thoroughly recommend it.
“BETTER ALL THE TIME”
Stayed at Cadbury House a total of 14 nights over the past 12 months. Always very satisfactory. Recent change of ownership has seen several discrete changes to help with the quirky interior design. For example a card in the bathroom explaining where the hair dryer is hidden and a sign guiding you to the hidden sockets in the desk.The only thing left to sort out is the poor lighting to the wardrobes behind the bed head board. My wife has left things there herself and been disapointed by the lack of customer care when phoning reception to report lost property, which several weeks later has still not been found! That aside a great hotel, with a warm welcome and always spotlessly clean, even the current building works don't intrude on the guest experience with the exception of reducing the number of available car parking spaces. We will almost certainly be back and at the special rates on expedia it can't be bettered in the Bristol area.
“hotel in a lovely setting and very convenient for the M5”
This hotel was in a lovely setting and would be great for a wedding or reception. The staff were very welcoming, pleasant and friendly. We only stayed for one night on the way to Cornwall but the location was very convenient for the motorway and was a good place to break the journey.
