Nice staff, clean but dated well used HotelPosted 6-Aug-2014
Pros: Located to close to the required area. Security appeared excellent and i could rest knowing my car and contents were safe outside. Reasonably priced.
Cons: Modernised, better sound proofing
Could do with a refit, but it was clean. Quite a bit of road noise from the M5 at all times. Not an unpleasant stay though and would use again for the right price.

Good stop over on way to St Ives from MidlandsPosted 23-Jul-2014
Pros: Where it was situated and the price was good
Cons: The state of the receptionists chair gave a very bad first impression when we arrived. It was all torn and worn.
Location: On the A30 service area. Went to a great pub called Worlds End about a mile away to sit outside for a drink and food
Very pleasant and helpful receptionist. Everything g we needed for a stop over and in a good service area for various food

near to motorway / good for breaking a journreyPosted 22-Jul-2014
Pros: near motorway, friendly receptionist and value for money
Cons: bit of a spruce up - decoration
Location: near to Taunton and Bridgewater
We arrived via sat nav for the postcode and arrived at a barrier through lanes. Just pressed the buzzer and were answered straight away and given access. Not a problem. The young man on reception was very helpful and happily answered our queries regarding local restaurants and pubs.We would definitely use this Days Inn again, very comfortable and clean room although rather tired décor. Quiet at night and overall good value for money

Very poor arrival condition wrong side motorwaysPosted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: Very clean and up to date.
Cons: Let people know the hotel is on the west side and what to do about it.
Location: Only stayed one night went to bed.
We arrived gate locked didn't know what to do ? We felt we should have been told about this went back to motorway now we are on the wrong side every one seemed to see it as a joke. HELP at last car park Ast ask if he could help us, he did, this happens all the time very,. tired by now. Room at last. never again.

Find somewhere else, this place is beyond help. You can't expect much from a motorway hotel, but this doesn't even deliver that.

FunctionalPosted 25-May-2014 on Hotels.com
We like this hotel because we can take the dog (and have stayed here before). This is a functional stop-over on the motorway services and the rooms are cheap if you book in advance. However, the rooms smell musty and this time we couldn't get on the wi-fi. The password was texted 3 days after we left!
