"Beautiful boutique hotel."
Amazing staff, clean beautiful room, comfy beds. 3 miles to Lido beach (A bit more to Siesta Key) but they provide towels and chairs. Pool is petite. Very petite. Not really a pool, kind of like a nice bowl of water. Despite that, I would stay again in a heartbeat--staff was SO nice and place was so clean. After reading about the places much closer to or on the beaches, we decided it would be worth paying more for creature comforts. Turned out to be a good decision!

"Location of the Hotel"
I can not say enough about the staff. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and I will say this I have already began to plan my next stay. You are walking distance from downtown and there are so many places sit down and have a great meal and you have a grocery store right across the streets with a McDonald's a block away and Taco Bell almost in the same parking lot.

"Great value and overall great place"
Walked in to a nice young dark hair lady who greeted me right away. That's was very important to me :) ROOM WAS CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED. Parking lot is in need of some tlc but that was to be my only true complaint. Oh and need more space for your breakfast closet looking area:) Couldn't move so it made it tight. Overall great trip. Not too farfrom my spots that I enjoy in sarasota. Thank you for your care!

"Well worth the price"
We stay there several times a year, usually on extended weekends. Some hotels are less expensive & some offer a lot more. But, the reason that we don't go to other hotels is the staff. Maggie & Chris are always very friendly, helpful, caring, accommodating & professional. The rooms are very clean with everything working well. The TV has a large variety of channels. The beds & pillows are very comfortable. We are not paying for a Hilton so we do not expect a Hilton. What we receive there is well worth what we pay.

"Awesome find!"
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Gulfside Motel. We were a three minute walk from a quiet stretch of beach, and just a 10 minute walk from St. Armands Circle. We stayed in a studio apartment, and it had everything we needed. The full size refrigerator was a huge plus. We even grilled steaks on the gas grill in the courtyard on one of our nights. It is an older motel with an "old Florida" charm. This is not a resort. If you want to stay in a resort, the hotel across the street would suit you better for around $250 a night. Parking was a breeze, the manager was extremely helpful and polite, and the area is completely safe for walking at night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I cannot wait for our next stay.

"Clean, good food, good rate"
Great free breakfast buffet, great free evening meals Monday through Thursday. I was surprised how good the free food was. I stay in a lot of Marriott's and Choice Hotels and the food was a lot better here. Nice rooms. Clean. I will definitely try Homewood Suites again!
