The actual spot was nice but the management was horrid. When we arrived we noticed one of the beds was broken. We immediately emailed management and sent a picture which they acknowledged. Since it was moments after check in it obviously wasn’t us. Two weeks later we were informed we were being charged $25 for breaking the bed. From that point on they were impossible to contact. Multiple emails later, a few phone calls no one ever got back to us and we are out $25. It’s only $25 but it’s the principle of the matter. During our stay we were immediately responded to. Since then, not one single email or call was responded to.

Apartment was great for the week - very comfortable and clean. Could have supplied a few more essentials in the kitchen (a clean sponge & another dish towel) but it was fine overall. Only real downside was the awful chemicals they used to clean the hallway floors everyday. They were unbearably strong & you could not escape the smell inside the apartment.

After reading through report on unit condition after previous guest, no such type of damage was ever mentioned. By the end of our investigation, we came to conclusion that your claims are lies. I am very satisfied with our stay., but just few things that you can add in to improve the rooms, such as having a mirror in the bedroom with small trash can. Another suggestion about throwing out the garbage ourselves, I believe it should be a part of cleaner's job.

We had a bit of communication issues at the beginning because we weren’t familiar with self checkin but overall our stay was excellent! Very clean and comfortable place! We will be recommending this place to friends and family. Looking forward to our next stay.

A different kind of accommodation.
Great attempt at no-face contact check-in. After completing the online registration, they sent me a text with the combo to the lockbox containing our key, but they had a typo, and it took a few minutes to figure out. The only other thing was the bed was too large for the room, there was not much space to move around in. Over all, the fact that there was a kitchen and living room made the accommodations comfortable.

We found the place very clean, clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Location was excellent, to local shops, restaurants and the canal. The reusable water bottle filled in the fridge was a nice touch. Quick response, when we encountered the pin for the lockbox was wrong. The kitchen and bathroom was stock with adequate supplies. We do a lot of cooking, we managed with the items in the kitchen.

The luxury apartments are part of the Rideau Hotel which is a very nice place. There are long term residents as well as short term. Global Stay is not a very good business in my opinion. We stayed 8 days in August of 2023. Communication with them was very difficult. There was to be a Fire Stick in the unit for the tv and a laundry card. We received neither and was told the local representative was away for 2 weeks. That didn't help us. We asked for clean linens but received none. Other people had come and gone during our stay but no one could assist us with our needs. I would not book with Global Stay.

The laundry process is very difficult. We struggled with where to put the credit card as this is not shown in the instructions and it is in a hidden slot under the machine. Additionally, it took several tries before our credit card was taken to add more value to our laundry card. It really shouldn't take 20 minutes to read through instructions and navigate issues before being able to do laundry. Additionally, someone parked in our parking stall and the street parking has a 2 hour limit. There should be a monitoring of the parking lot to ensure everyone is adhering to their assigned spots.
