“Just OK”

We were actually heading to Ottawa, but decided to lodge in throughout the middle of our trip. It was ok for a short stay (2 nights). They had a nice breakfast ready until 9am, which was a treat. There are stores nearby if anything was needed, and a nice little river/stream in the back. The balconies were really dirty,however, wish they were cleaner, plus our room was not cleaned out by housekeeping after we left during the day so we came back to a dirty room. Overall, it was an OK place to stay for short term.

“Comfort Inns Should Be Ashamed of Themselves!”

No landscaping, garbage everywhere, bullet holes, broken elevator, awful mattresses, dank hallways, terrifying stairwells, dirty windows... and to think it sits on a beautiful piece of land now part of a Heritage Landmark of Canada, the beautiful Rideau Canal! When it was built, many years ago, it was lovely...no upkeep since; an absolute disgrace to the town!
