“Excellent deal with Expedia”

This is a lovely hotel, housed in a fabulous building (the old pscyhe hosp apparently!). We stayed in a suite (with kitchen net) in main hotel but friends have stayed in appartments and would recommend these too. Hotel offers everything you would need for a night with 2 children, ie. family friendly and very reasonable priced Kudos restaurant. A swimming pool with toddler pool, a gym and beauty treatments. Staff were extremely friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.

“Very satisfied”

Older enormous former institution amazingly refurbished, with new suites to the rear. Pathways through the building take a few days to learn, and poorly signposted. Anyone with mobility problems should insist on a convenient room. Lovely pool etc., and excellent gym. Breakfast good. Happy to return.

“large hotel rooms”

I don't know if it was b/c it was off-season, but the King-bed room we got actually came with two rooms: one bedroom, and another huge living room with couch, chairs, desk, and dinette. This was larger than some apts. I've lived in. The service was great. The internet didn't work in one of our rooms, and someone came to look at it right away. Pool area is very nice. The hotel is a 20-min. uphill hike outside of town though.

“Space and comfort”

We stayed in the appartments, me, my husband and our three children. We had a two bedroom appartment which could have slept seven easily as one room had a king size bed, another a double bed and single bed and the living room a double size sofa bed. TV and dvd in all rooms. No Wifi through! Easy to find. Parking was a problem when we went out for an evening meal and returned around 9pm could not get parked near the appartment as there was a function in the hotel. Hotel bar was very limited in stock and drink/food expensive.

“A touch of luxury”

I am a student and I stayed with my boyfriend at the Clarion Hotel for a week in June. The room we stayed in was the most basic / cheapest option but the standard more than met our needs and we were very impressed. The food on offer was very nice and the prices weren't too bad. The gym, pool, sauna and steam room usage were included in the price. There was a 20 minute walk into town however which was a slight drawback. Also may have been better going in July / August as the town was very quiet in June and the locals say its busier in the summer months. A really enjoyable relaxing trip however.

“Relaxing in Sligo”

The Clarion hotel is not only lovely to look at but also great to stay in. This is my second visit and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. There is a choices of rooms including apartments and suites giving you more space depending on your party of guests. Excellent restaurants and spa/swimming facilities. It is not in the city centre but only short distance

“Excellent hotel with excellent facilities”

Beautiful hotel with a lovely decor throughout. We liked the Kudos Bar as it's something different from the traditional hotel bars. Food & service was 5* standard. Very friendly staff and I was surprised to find out how "Family Friendly" this hotel was. I would definately recommend this hotel!
