We had noisy neighbors. Dinning room staff are not friendly. Front desk clerk ignore you and does not care. Not a pleasant stay during our visit. We spent 4 night over there. The room is tiny and it cost too much.

Great location
Decent hotel for anyone on a budget, great location very close to bus station and the trains. Small rooms but comfy beds. Enough room for two people with the small room we booked. Overall pleasant stay, if you’re on a budget then this hotel could be it for you!

Very dusty rooms, uncomfortable mattress on one bed, bad smell in bathroom, breakfast area not appealing at all, breakfast very basic, wouldn’t go there again.

Bathroom shower was horribly dirty with mold. It will give you foot fungus. Reconstruction is ongoing next door, so between 8-5, much hammering. No windows, and no ventilation. Very small room. One star, not three.

Basic accommodation, ok for one night stay for a 12hr transit. Just needed a place to sleep, shower, and explore the hawker markets. No windows and extremely small.

Bad experience!
So dirty place, with bad smell from the toilet and smell of mold in some rooms. Also several bugs, (ants, cockroaches etc) in the rooms. Very bad experience. We had to change 3 rooms. I don't recommended it at all. The location is good but find something else

For the price charged our room was basic backpacker level; no window, cramped with double bed tucked in alcove requiring left side. Room was generally run down, sparsely furnished.

Everything is close by the hotel. It was convenient for us and the cruise port was nearby. I like the fact that you can eat ice cream every day. The night market is a must see. The staff was wonderful and most of them don’t speak English but we managed to communicate with a translator. I would definitely go back there and stay. I stayed there 2 nights,

We were a group of 7 people in three rooms and stayed for two nights. Our room had no shower curtain and flooded after showers. The night wall light was not working, and the telephone to call my family was not working. The washroom was full of molds, the vanity was full of molds, the walls throughout was dirty. They installed a shower curtain but it was too short and did not help with the flooding. The hotel definitely has major maintenance issues. It was neglected. It was not worth what I paid.I have pictures to back up my review.

The property is very tired. My bathroom had mould between the tiles and fixtures. I didn't pay for that. The Team were helpful but its not up to any standards.

You stay at Jayleen 1918 because of its excellent location and walking distance to many restaurants, pubs, Clarke Quay Mall, and Clarke Quay MRT. It's easy and quick to get from the hotel to other attractions via the subway. The hotel is near tourist nightclubs so there are a lot of revelers at night. The hotel needs renovation for moldy baseboards and musty odors and a facelift for old decor but the room, linen, and bathroom were clean. I didn't see any bedbugs. The staff is very hospitable.

The hotel is located near Clarke Quay. It is easy to walk around major attractions. We used public transport a lot as well. The hotel is very clean and reasonably priced.

Bad idiot worst hotel in my life.
Hotel is terrible. I have sated July 3 one night. Inside room are many aunts. And insect around drinks water area. No clean and bad smells. I come now for two nights stay. Again same room 207. Still there are many aunts. I don’t like to stay here but now no time to change the hotel. Already midnight and no chance. Really bad and terrible hotel.
