“Nice Place To Stay”
Check-in was very smooth - no problems. We received free drink coupons for the hotel bar. Fresh coffee always in the lobby. Provided Breakfast was excellent - full buffet. Could have used additional shampoo in the bathroom (there were two of us). We would definitely stay here again.

Pool, close to Hw and Malibu. Liked it a lot.

The room was nice. Great friendly staff. Nice hot breakfast. Great price, especially for a weekend. If in the area again, would definitely stay here.
“Surprisingly good value”
For the price we got this room (we reserved that day, due to poor planning on my part!) we were extremely pleased with the quality. The room, grounds, and breakfast were quite nice. Some touches I particularly appreciated were a) a refrigerator/microwave in the room and b) a fairly quiet air conditioner. In addition, although the hotel is quite near the freeway (CA 101) there was very little traffic noise in the room.
“Perfect rest stop for a business trip...”
Has a really nice feel to it with decently high speed internet access. Nothing extravagant, but satisfied all my needs. Definitely clean and comfortable.

everyone was so nice and friendly we were there to help our son move his business from place to another and it was nice to get back to rest and the breakfast was great.
“What a bargain”
This hotel was even better than we had hoped. The grounds are beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly, and the rooms were very comfortable. The cost included a complete hot breakfast, which was a nice bonus.
“Beautiful grounds”
Besides the gorgous grounds, our room had many nice features (decent coffee, real coffee mugs and glasses, pretty amoire, many tv channels, good towels and shower head, microwave & fridge...). Also, the restaurant, Eric's was excellent! Then we were amazed at the extent of the complimentary breakfast. There was: fresh fruit, pastries, waffle batter with many toppings, oatmeal, cereals, eggs, potatoes, eggs florentine, sausage, bacon, juices, hot beverages and choices of 3 newspapers-in a nice room and adjoining patio adjacent to the pool and lovely grounds. For the price, we were impressed and wished we'd had more time there to enjoy the place.
“Wonderful, Comforting and Affordable Stay”
Hotel and staff were great. only complaint was the 100 kids practicing soccer in the courtyard at 6am, the hotel refused to stop them. Other than that, the rooms are comfy, food is great, very convenient to the highway and only about 30mins from LA
“Pleasantly Surprised”
Our second time visiting the Camarillo area and we vowed not to stay where we did on our first visit. Palm Gardens was a slightly dated but well maintained, clean and reasonably priced hotel. Their free breakfast buffet was a lovely surprise and very good. We ate at Eric's (the restaurant attached to the hotel) which was OK but had a great time having a few drinks and listening to the live band that played that evening. All-in-all, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will stay there the next time we visit the area.
