We arrived at the hotel after driving for more than 300 miles hoping to get a good rest and a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, we experienced the complete opposite. We were not able to sleep the entire night because of the loud rattling sound of the air conditioner and the dripping of the water in the sink and the bathtub. We complained to the manager the next day and told him our decision to just pack our things and find another accommodation. The manager didn’t negate our claim; however, he said that the lodge wouldn’t be able to refund us; and instead, we should call Expedia to be refunded for the unused night; which we did. But then when Expedia verified our complaint by calling the lodge, the manager lied and said that he didn’t agree to the refund. The lodge is in poor condition. The room smells horribly; a place one would never go back to.

The view and grounds of the property were great. The walls were thin and conversations in other rooms could be heard. Cold water in shower did not work. Shower diverter in bathtub spout was broken (this is only a $30 fix you can do yourself). Towels were not picked up or replaced. People were nice and breakfast was fine.

Unfortunately, the maid did not show up for work but we were still given a room that had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. The beds were still disheveled and the room smelled musty. We asked for another room after a long day of traveling and the key for the second room would not work.

The Lookout Lodge was comfortable for the price. There was a mother/baby deer right on property. The view and nature was really nice. It’s about 2 minutes outside of Tombstone. We would definitely stay again.

Loved the view from the room overlookig the valey and mountains. Very comfortable bed. Staff very helpful with problems husband was having with his Cpap. Nice hot breakfast.

From the highway the place looks iffy...needs painted! But the rooms were nice and clean inside. And the grounds were well maintained.

check in is at 3:00, we got there at 2:50 and they said they needed about 30 min. to finish cleaning the room. I said no problem we will be back at 4:00. Got back at 4 and room wasn't ready until 5:00. Toilet seat was very loose, and the sink faucet was very loose. Towels were like sandpaper. But the room was clean. Probably wouldn't go back.

The employees were friendly, but house keeping was something to be desired. Room was never touched my first full day there. The sinknin the bathroom kept dripping and had issues with the toilet constantly running. The shade over the main window was too short, people could easily see into the room had the wanted

Room was clean but smelled a little musty at first, water in shower was hot and good water pressure. This is an older motel. View of the mountains across the valley was excellent! Road noise was not too bad, but there is traffic/noise until wee hours of morning. Heater in our room was pretty loud/clanky.

Conveniently located just outside of Tombstone is comfortable. There are no bells and whistles, but the beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast is ok. The property has a neat little outdoor patio where you can sit by the fire in the evening. You can look out your windiw and see a gorgeous view of the mountains.

This hotel was so clean, fresh-smelled, quiet, and had a nice view. The room had very good conditions such as the comfort bed, good-quality soap & towels, and antique-styled furniture, The staff were friendly. I liked its FREE breakfast. I will go back there next time, and highly recommend to my friends.

This is an older hotel that has such a pristine view. It is really incredible. The room was clean and very cozy. The people who run the hotel are super nice and friendly, down to earth people. We are definitely coming back.

We had a pet friendly non-smoking room, but it still smelled like cigarettes. Perhaps that’s why the window was open to air it out. The pull down shade wouldn’t stay down-it would automatically roll back up so I had to set a heavy bag on the end to keep the window shade closed. The room was cute-like an old fashioned room with swinging doors to the restroom area. The bathroom ceiling looked like it had had some water damage from the upstairs bathroom and had been painted over. Toilet was a little loose at base when sitting on it. Overall, it’s ok for us with a small dog.

Tombstones Landmark Lodge
If you’re looking for a four star resort, keep looking, because this place isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place for the weekend, this is the place. The staff is courteous and respectful. The breakfast buffet was small but adequate. I stayed for two nights and it was a peaceful and restful stay. I brought the family dog with me and we were all welcomed. The property backs up to a large open piece of dessert with an area to hike and let your dog run free. Definitely will stay there again.

We reserved 2 rooms but the first room smelled like raw sewage. So I asked the attended to give me another room. When I woke up in the morning I found cockroaches in the room. Not just one but many. I killed 1 and saw a few tiny ones in the tub. I made sure that I shook out all of my clothes and bags to avoid bringing any home. I would not go to this place if I were you.
