“Séjour agréable”

Hôtel idéalement placé à quelques centaines de mètres des principaux sites touristiques. L'accueil y est chaleureux et le personnel sympathique et dévoué. La décoration des chambres est un peu viellotte mais il n'y a rien à redire en matière de propreté.

“Good hotel in a good location”

The hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is located in a great location within the old town walls and is in short walking distance to the major attractions. Can only recommend to book here.....

“Good place to sleep”

Value for the money. Not expensive, safe, clean with friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance from all Siena's atractions, close to railway station. Missing aircon - but it will wake you up early so you dont waste your hols in bed

“un charme conseillé”

hotel très bien situé (mais il faut demander un plan de la ville avant d'y aller), personnel d'accueil extraordinairement sympathique et à disposition (mais absent à partir de 20H, petit hotel de caractère (la salle de déjeuner, sous voûte est superbe); les chambres sont malheureusement mal insonorisées (donnant sur la rue, pour ce qui nous concernait)et on a peu dormi - mais je recommande néanmoins !!!

“Good for what we needed”

Nothing too special, but cheap clean and within walking distance to both the town centre and train station. Staff very friendly, although the reception does close at half 8 in the evening (not a problem for access though as they provide a code).

“An Interesting Experience”

The hotel is well located for walking around in the old walled city of Siena. It is clean and comfortable but the room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. Siena hotel's are expensive, but I had expected a little more for the price we paid for the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would hesitate to recommend the hotel to others because of the difficulty in finding it, the problem with parking, and the spartan quality of the room. It is not for everyone's taste.

“price was right”

This is a basic, no frills hotel in a great location. We spent 8 days in Mar. 2008 for the price of one night at a luxury hotel. If your room is just a place to sleep and a trip to Italy would be unaffordable any other way this is the place for you. As there is no AC and it is on a noisy street I might hesitate to make a summer booking.

“Great service & location but..”

in need of much refurbishment - carpets worn, bathrooms dated and not particularly clean. breakfast very basic but acceptable. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and the central location was great for exploring Siena. The linen supplied in the room was luxurious - not really matching the surroundings!!

Hormis sa situation en centre ville et une bonne isolation phonique, trop cher pour ses prestations : chambre non entretenue,sale, matelas affaissé, sol de sdb glissant, pas de parking.

“Ordinary hotel.”

Location is good. No nearby parking. You can drive to the front door and park there to check in and out, but you have to park a fair distance away. Nothing special about this hotel. Ancient shutters for windows. I should have brought some rat traps with me.
