“Chianti heaven.”

The hotel lived up to its publicity. The setting was traditional; the hotel was contemporary. The pool area and wellness centre were excellent. Lunch was taken each day by the pool and dinner in the hotel restaurant which was only open to residents. The location was quite rural and not within easy walking distance of Radda in Chianti. A car is an essential. Due to the winding roads it did take longer to drive to obvious places of interest eg. Siena was almost an hour away. As the weather was fantastic the majority of the visit was spent by the pool. Hotel staff were very friendly, the room was spotless as were all reception areas and the restaurant food compared favourably with nearby restaurants. There were plenty of places to sit both in and around the hotel so the whole feeling was one of space. One slight criticism - the bar was very intermittently manned in the evenings. All in all an excellent stay and a hotel we would unreservedly recommend. Probably the most restful holiday in one of the most beautiful settings we have ever taken.

“Séjour très agréable”

Très bon hotel, idéal pour se reposer, bien équipé (piscine découverte, grand jacuzzi couvert, sauna, hammam), avec vue panoramique sur Radda. Le personnel s'est montré très sympathique. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant et ne pouvons donc donner notre appréciation sur ce dernier.

Avis très positif sur cet hotel. Hotel très agréable - piscine et espace spa très bien- et personnel très disponible. Idéal pour visiter la région du Chianti mais également Florence et Sienne.

“Beautiful and Welcoming!”

This was a beautiful and tranquil hotel. The staff was polite, friendly and very helpful. The billowy white linen everywhere...very zen and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and more than we expected. We felt like we were in a dreamland...I would highly recommend this hotel...

“A modern hotel in the heart of Tuscany”

This is a great hotel for those who like a sleek and business like enviornment. A little incongrous to the country setting but very new and modern. The decor is clean, black and white and minimalistic that can leave you with a cold feeling. The staff is courteous, has a computer for general use in the lobby with Internet. The pool and the vistas are fantastic. A little far to walk into town. The room and bed was very comfortable, the walls are very thing. The breakfast was a little disappointing.

“Great views”

I liked the hotel, modern decor, clean, great views, dramatic. Drawbacks include odd problems like my door didn't lock. It is also far from town, and if you don't have a car you need to eat there and it is a bit institutional.

“The place is amazing but realy far from everything”

The road is not so eazy and you have to use a GPS in order to get safetly anf right. The hotel crew were kind but didn't much assisted with right informaation about roads, no helpfool maps. ... BUT THE VIEW IS AMAZING. Oh, and we were freezing at night in our room since it wasn't the winter season so they couldn't turn on the heater!? that was unbelievable !!!!

“Not horrible - but not a luxurious getaway”

This hotel was OK - but I do not recommend it because you can do so much better elsewhere in Tuscany! I've made about 7 trips to this province and this was my least favorite hotel (including budget hotels!). It's billed and priced as a luxurious country getaway (and the small indoor hot tub pool was nice), but the comfort is much more like a budget hotel. Thin walls, hard beds - ok if you don't plan to spend much time in your room, but the remote location of this place means you probably will be spending some time there. Also, while the surrounding area is beautiful, there really aren't many areas to walk/explore it from the hotel - so you're far from anything but the hotel, but don't have the full benefits of staying in the country. The nearby town of Radda is quite nice - I wish we'd stayed there or at one of the many agriturismi/vineyards in the general area. This area is definitely not a place to stay if you don't have a car. Driving is pretty easy/laid back here and the countryside is incredible, just keep in mind that the roads are very curvy.

“Dommage”

Cet hôtel est joliment placé, avec un très jolie vue, de la terrasse. Mais le service est froid et impersonnel et la cuisine médiocre. Dommage!!
