“Charming, Central, Beautiful Bed and Breakfast”

The hosts were kind, welcoming, and gracious. The room was extremely beautiful, clean, and charming. The location was stupendous: quiet, overlooking a garden, and just over five minutes walking from the Duomo. It was very, very clean and well maintained as well. Coffee provided in the room. You also can't beat the value.

The hotel is very close to the city center. The room is well- decorated. The receptionist is kind and jolly. We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. I recommend this to other travelers.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel promotes its familial aspect and how they love the place. This was not evident in our stay. The room was small and looked cozy until we were freezing at night from the limited heat being expelled from the heater and the tiny extra blankets provided. It was difficult to contact the owner of the hotel to sort out any problems and they were too busy looking after their other hotel. After two freezing days in the room and constant noise from the owner's mother in law in the room next door, my partner and I had had enough and wanted to leave. As the hotel wasn't centrally located, we finally contacted the son of the owner to organise a taxi to pick us up at 7.30am to get a bus at 8.15 from the station. At 7.30, there was no taxi so we buzzed the owner and they called a taxi that did not arrive for another 20 minutes and we missed the only bus for the day. The facilities and services of Le Camerine di Silvia were extremely disappointing and I do not recommend for anyone to stay here.
