Roberto is very friendly. Shower is small. Bring your own soap, shan’t and conditioner as what they offer is very small for 2 people. Otherwise great location and beds were comfortable

Roberto and his wife were just so welcoming. They were amazing. The town is fantastic, so safe and so beautiful. We also enjoyed the restaurants, the wineries, and the shops right in the old town. We enjoyed every moment. We do hope to come back and we will stay with Roberto again. The location was perfect for walking to everything we wanted to see.

A great place to stay and Roberto and his wife are excellent hosts. It's hard to find following a maps app; park at P6, don't drive anything but a small car there, and walk from P6 through the small stairway and alley, don't follow the map! The hotel has 2 entrances, be prepared for lots of steps and dark stairways. But it's worth it!

Hotel located in the middle of Montepulciano, a hilltop town with wonderful medieval ambience. the host Roberto and Vittoria were wonderful. Hotel is in ZTL (limited traffic zone). We have trouble finding the hotel parking and Roberto took us and guided us with his car to find parking. Many excellent restaurants around hotel. Hotel breakfast was wonderful in courtyard.

A Room in the middle of town
We were welcomed by Roberto and showed where our special parking would be. Our room was spacious and overlooked the street below Breakfast was a wonderful spread included in the price and perfect to start each busy day.

Great place and very kind host
Albergo is the best host who will treat you as a guest rather than a customer. The place is very nice and convenient for everything. Try its breakfast, Albergo will serve you himself and provide local food in his beautiful back yard.

Good location with close easy parking. Staff was very friendly and made for an enjoyable stay. Room was clean and comfortable, although some of the furnishings and decor could be updated. Breakfast was very good The only real drawback is that the shower was very small.

Amazing stay wonderful host
Amazing host. Roberto was the most generous and accommodating. He met us at a parking lot and we followed him in such a wealth of knowledge and so many great tips. Breakfast was amazing and rooms quaint. A bit hot but it was July during a hot spell. AC would be nice or coming in spring and fall but easily overlooked with amazing hospitality will definitely stay here again

Lovely breakfast terrace
Really nice family hotel, great location. Spacious room, super clean, comfy bed. Everything is in good condition, lovely hosts, good breakfast. The only thing it’s missing is air conditioning. The fan keeps the room ok temperature-wise, but can’t close the window because of it. And depending on the room, the restaurant in the street can be quite noisy.

Once we found the property (after driving through the main pedestrian, cobblestone street….YIZkES!!) we were greeted by our sweet hosts. The room and courtyard was lovely!! A perfect stay, a great breakfast, and wonderful hosts!!

Don't look any further
I would highly recommend Roberto and his property. The route is well marked to get to his place but Google maps does not take you to the right place. We got lost (thanks Google) and called him and he found us. He drove us down to our car and escorted us up to his place to park for the night. The room was clean and comfortable. We got a tour of the property too. It is central to all of Montepulciano so wine tasting and having dinner is just a short walk back. We did not have breakfast but we will when we go back.

The owners, Roberta and Vittoria are a delight, and attentive to all questions and needs. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious. The rooms were on different levels; mine was on the main floor with access to an airy terrace. Located a bit off the Piazza Grande (center of Montepulciano), it was a very quiet place.

The hosts are above any we have seen anywhere...in all of Europe and America. They go out of there way for every guest before the guest realizes. We enjoyed our stay and will return without a doubt. The room is very comfortable. The location is fabulous. The town is incredible. We will return!

Such a wonderful stay at La Terazza! Roberto and his lovely wife were the best hosts we’ve ever had!! Such a joy and will certainly stay here again. Without a doubt recommend this character filled hotel for any stay in Montepulciano!!

Our stay at La Terraza was absolutely magnificent. Roberto and his wife were amazing with every detail at the hotel and have fun, charming personalities.. The breakfast is the best I've had in Italy and the room was spacious, clean and beautiful. The hotel included breakfast, a bar downstairs, and a patio outside. The room was so lovely with Italian antique armour and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is right next to 3 great restaurants, making it very easy to eat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Montepulciano.

On Night in Montepulciano
We were traveling in Tuscany and needed a place to stay in Montepulciano. Hotel La Terrazza is located near the top of the old town and close to all of the attractions. There are three restaurants right at the base of the hotel. The hotel owner is very nice and took care of us from the time we came in until we left. He knows a lot about the area and can help with anything you need. Breakfast included order made coffee / cappuccino, fresh pastries, fruit, meat and cheese plate, and other packaged items. More than enough for what we needed. Rooms were little dated but clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well. I would stay here again.

Fantastic place and wonderful host
You will not believe the graciousness of our host Roberto. He met us at the door and you would think we were the only people who ever stayed at his hotel. He drove me down to my car and allowed us to park right in front. He is the happiest person I think I have ever met. Our stay was just fantastic; you cannot go wrong here. My family felt like they were part of his family.

Roberto is such a wonderful host. We got lost on our approach, he came found us, helped us, and was so very welcoming, friendly, and crazy (in a good way). Our favourite Italian we have met so far. The room was great and the village is beautiful.

The owner and host, Roberto wakes up at 100mph to make you happy. Very helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. His wife does the cooking and preparation and it was excellent. Great location. This is a lovely town. The whole experience was a pleasure.

Our stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience and the owner, Robert and his wife were absolutely amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to help us with our stay in Montepulciano. The hotel layout is quite different from what we have seen in the past, which is probably due to the age and location of many buildings in the ancient town of Montepulciano. But it has an old world charm and and a beautiful courtyard where we had a wonderful, complimentary breakfast. We loved Tuscany so much that we have decided to visit again in the future and will certainly spend a couple of days at the Hotel La Terrazza di Montepulciano, looking forward to seeing Robert and his wife again!
