"Ideal romantic get away"
Bother working the front desk beyond kind! If in peak tourist season avoid driving into city. Would recommend walking into center of city with smaller Bags to accommodate yourself (we stayed 2 nights) rather Than brin large suitcases, as Siena is full of steep hills! Otherwise location is ideal! Steps from il campo!

"Felt like a resort"
This was convenient for overnight after arriving at FCO before shuttling to Citivichi for our cruise, and then overnight again before flying home. Great breakfast buffet, plus a tasty menu offered at there poolside restaurant. The service was great and prices were reasonable. Quiet rooms and comfy beds. Overall a good value and would use again.

"WOW!"
Merci Antonio!

"Clean and Functional Hotel, good location"
We spent two very relaxing days in Siena. Hotel staff was helpful in finding a restaurant late at night and an self serve laundry, as well as guide to special shopping needs. The town has a wonderful character, and the steep streets add to the enchantment. Streets full of happy friendly people, wide shopping and dinning choices.

"Perfectly situated"
This is an old-style Italian hotel, situated just minutes from the bus station and a pleasant down-hill walk to the historic centre of Siena. There was a very good atmosphere, everything worked well and one feels that this must come from very good management. The breakfast is good and the hotel restaurant itself serves good meals, very reasonably priced. Do get an OpaSi ticket which costs 14 euros and is valid for 3 days. This will allow entrance to the cathedral, baptistery, crypt, and museum, all close together. If you are able, it is really worth climbing up to the very top of the new cathedral (unfinished) - the panoramic view is magnificent. At the bus station, the information and ticket office is down a flight of stairs in the Piazza and the buses for Florence,Pisa and San Gimignano leave from here. Siena is hilly so good walking shoes or sturdy sandals are advisable!

"Nice lodging near campo"
This was our second visit to Locanda San Martino - both stays were for a week. We enjoyed both stays. When we were there last year scaffolding was up which blocked a lovely view, but this year it was finished and we enjoyed the view! Also when we checked in we asked to be moved from the street side to the back side which we were able to do. Nice breakfast in mornings also.

"Perfect location for San Gimignano"
Stunning views of the Toscanna landscape and yet so close to the beautiful village of San Gimignano. Spend the extra dollars and get the valley view. Spent three nights and did not want to leave.
