“Best Hotel in Siem Reap”
The hotel was wonderful! Beyond expectations. The staff was always helpful and always smiling. Higher priced hotels could not be near as relaxing as my stay was at Sonalong. Very close to pub street, tuk-tuk rides were only about 1 USD or walking took 10 min. The pool is very very clean and each room supremely quiet with a personal balcony overlooking the pristine garden maintained at the hotel. The complimentary breakfast every morning was the perfect start to my day, home made pancakes with honey and fresh fruit coupled perfectly with the serene atmosphere. You can spend around 15 USD to have a tuk-tuk driver for the entire day and see all the temples you please, or just sit back, relax, and let your day (and worries) slip away while you read by the pool. I plan to return to Cambodia one day and plan to stay in the exact same hotel. Sonalong Boutique Village & Resort is the ultimate icing on top of a wonderful Cambodian adventure!

From the reception with welcome drink to the staff (always ready to help), from the swimming pool to the perfumed room, it was a wonderful experience. There is no luxury at all, but as everithing is so nice, the hotel become very very attractive. The room was big and very warmful! We went to watch the sunrise at 05:00am and asked in the previous night for something to take away as breakfast and surprisingly they had our breakefast prepared to take away! The day we were supposed to leave, we left our lugagge in the reception and went to visit other places. As we were not expecting to last much, we didn't ask for a late check out. However, we arrived at 5:00 pm. they let us to take a shower and use their facilities for free. MOreovere, they have served a dinner even though the kitchen should be closed. Will certainly comeback if I have the opportunity!
