“Royal Emprie review”
A brilliant hotel in an extra ordinary land. The Royal Empire was beautifully appointed with tremendous facilities, courteous staff and a wondeful swimming pool. A little out of the centre an inexpensive tuk-tuk ride could get you whereever you needed to be or failing that a taxi. Everything is priced in US dollars so you always know how far your money is going which in Cambodia is generally a long way. If we return to Sien Reap we would not consider any other hotel than this. Superb value for money.
“GREAT HOTEL, GREAT PRICE, GREAT SERVICE”
Great place, great hotel, great staff. The room was spacious and extremely clean, with a balcony overlooking the gorgeous swimming pool. It features all comforts, such as security box, TV with a huge range of channels available etc. The staff is incredibly kind, saying hi and bowing whenever we would pass by. They really make you feel important. The day we left they all lined up to say good bye! The concierge service has not been extremely efficient, but it really depends on the staff member you talk to. Breakfast is at average levels, maybe they should do more, but still it was good. The business office is made of 2 computers (for us it was free as we booked a superior room), and almost never busy. The price/quality ratio is amazing, if you think we had a beautiful room, breakfast and internet included. Go there, it is definitely worth it. P.S. Is a bit far from the main center of Siem Reap, but it takes only a 10 minutes TUC TUC ride to get there, so no big deal. At the same time, its position makes it a great choice for those who wish to stay in a quiet place, with no noises of people screaming on the street.
“Excellent hotel”
Picked this hotel based on reviews on expedia and was not disappointed.Hotel is in a great location, close to the airport and the town centre was a short tuk tuk tide away. Pool area was really nice and the bar was welcoming. Only criticism is the bar was not open all the time and the service tended to be a bit slow
“Perfect Accomodation at Siem Reap”
This was the perfect accomodation for our visit in Siem Reap. Although it is not downtown we were picked up anyway by our driver to take us to Angkor Wat during the days and at night there is a really nice tuk tuk driver that took us downtown for dinner and shopping each night. The hotel was very nice and it was nice to get pampered in a nice hotel from our busy days and nights. The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. The price was really great too!

Room is spacious, newly decorated, very clean, good service, definitely would recommend for my friends if they will rent Tu-Tu or car.
“A comfortable and relaxing place after an exhausting day of temple visits”
The Royal Empire Hotel in Siem Reap which is located between the city, the airport and the temples in Angkor is perfect for someone who is looking for a relaxing and very comfortable place to relax after exhausting days of sightseeing. It doesn't take more than 10 minutes by cab or tuk-tuk to get to the city center where there is a large variety of restaurants, bars and shopping available. At the same time it is a very quiet place with a wonderful swimming pool. The rooms are very spacious and elegant.
“Service impeccable!”
Service irréprochable, peut venir vous chercher à l'aéroport gratuitement sur simple demande (le retour est payant), nous avons eu un problème avec la 1ere chambre et avons été reclassés dans une suite sans souci, accueil chaleureux, toujours désireux de vous aider, parle anglais. Piscine ouverte jusqu'à 22h, agréable après une journée de visite des temples d'Angkor. L'hotel n'est pas dans le centre ville de Siem Reap mais est au calme avec vue sur la végétation et la piscine suivant les chambres et à seulement 10 min du centre ville en Tuk Tuk (3$). Conseil aux voyageurs : échanger votre argent en US Dollars et non en monnaie locale (le riel) car tous les prix sont affichés en dollars (resto, tuk tuk, taxi, entrée aux temples...)

“Hotel with super-natural guests”
Although quite new, the hotel is very gloomy and has no warmth. Everywhere appears dark and this may have "invited" unwanted/unwelcomed visitors from the unnatural world. We were disturbed the whole night by a series of weird noises (a high pitched youngish cries). This happened during our last night of stay.
