“Best Ever”
This is a wonderful hotel, far better than many of the five star hotels we stayed in, the service was exceptional, a brilliant example of all that Asia has to offer, can't wait to return here with the whole family.
“The best experience I had at a hotel”
The hotel is beautiful, nice and clean. The rooms are huge and service is excellent. I felt bad that they had so few visitors -not too many tourists visit Angor Wat. I would like to urge everyone to go and visit this beautiful country with lovely people, amazing sites and stay at this wonderful hotel. They have a nice big pool as well and the breakfast was awesome - many choices for everyone with great service. For the price it was a luxury hotel where we had a great time. The design of the hotel is unique and beautiful. We even had a foot massage and it was great - one hour for $10 - very relaxing.
“Great hotel great value”
This was a GREAT hotel for the money. The lobby and room exceeded my expectations and the pictures are a good representation of the hotel. Siem Reap (like most of Cambodia) is not a good walking town for safety reasons due to the crazy vehicle/tuk tuk traffic but since the average tuk tuk fare is $1, this wasn't a problem for me. The hotel provided free breakfast since I booked my reservation w/ Expedia and it was excellent. The wifi signal was nonexistent in my room but was fine in the lobby.
“Recommend very highly”
Very friendly and helpful staff. Location ideal for night market and restaurants of Siem Reap. Close to Angkor temples too. Restaurant at the hotel not that great, average quality. Good value for money as the rooms are modern, clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel!!
“My Review”
For the price i paid i thaught the hotel was excellent. The only dissapointment was that the spa wasn't working.Five to ten mins stroll to pub street and markets.breakfast is good variety.
“great staff and hotel”
My stay at the New Angorland Hotel was very enjoyable. It is close to every thing Pub street, Night Market. 5-10 min walk. The staff were all very nice and accomadating. The buffet breakfest was all very good and there was plenty of choices to choose from it does have a little more for the asians but if thats what you like u'll be in heaven. the omlets are very good. I cant say anything negative about the hotel or the staff the hotel was very clean and the band that they have playing in the lobby was very good. Thumbs up for the New Angorland Hotel. Thank u for a stress free vacation John , Arizona
“great location, good value for money”
nice and clean hotel, great service although the internet didn't work in our rooms hence 4 out of 5. big pool with kids pool and nice area with pool chairs and towels available (but in January the water was freezing), full breakfast with a lot of choice, about 5-10 min from Angkor temples. don't bother ordering anything from the room service menu as the chances are they will not have it. there is a mini market round the corner. complimentary toiletries and tea&coffee plus bottled water as well. overall great location, away from the main busy and noisy roads so quiet in the evening and at night. just 15 min walk through the town and you're in the busy Old Market area and Pub Street (Cambodian BBQ is a must-dine).
“OK”
Small, clean pool. Room ok but a bit smoky (not much choice). Location ok - off the main road so quiet but close to everything. 10/15 minute walk to 8 Street (pub, restaurant and market area). Close to supermarkets for nibbles etc. Odd that they charge for internet access when most are now free.
“Recommended”
The hotel's location is very good especially if you plan to visit the night market. The rooms are big and clean. The buffet breakfast is good although not exceptional. The hotel staff is friendly and always ready to extend a hand. The only negative comment I have was the ceiling leak in the bathroom area, which was not only present in our room but also in the other room occupied by our traveling companion. I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff and hopefully they would act on it.
“Good value for money.”
A bit far from the "main drag" , but clean, quiet, and with a great pool. Travel agent around the corner and down the street a block for tours to Angkor, taxis, etc, also cheap laundry facilities in the same spot as the travel agent. Very expensive to have the hotel do laundry. Comfy bed and good water pressure. Good value for money.
