The property is starting to get a little run down...lots of tiles and paint peeling. The hot tub wasn't working properly. Other than that, things seemed fairly clean and the staff friendly.

No power no problem and peaceful night's rest.
Courtyard is always a great place to stay. The power went out in South Bossier LA again and i wanted to be comfortable so i picked the Courtyard by Marriot.

Deceivingly poor stay
Our room had a musty smell and ac filter probably needed to be changed. Bed was subpar and shower did not appear very clean. Also no complimentary coffee.

The staff did the best they could after wicked storm came through Shreveport and knocked out power to thousands of residents and numerous businesses including they hotel. They kept smiling and assisted guest as needed.

Nice hotel. Found empty booze bottles, multiple bottle caps on floor as we checked-in. room definitely was not cleaned thoroughly. Room was handicapped accessible but could not maneuver a wheel chair into the room without moving chairs. Limited room to move around with a wheelchair.

The hotel itself is fine. Not as fancy as some Marriott’s, it looks like it was a different type of hotel and has been converted. The tub in our room was peeling, but the rest of the room was fine. The staff was helpful and friendly. They have a cute little bistro/coffee bar in the lobby that had pretty reasonable prices for beverages and snacks. This is a good thing because only fast food available nearby and sadly not an area that I would want to hang out.
