Shoghi is located approximately 170 miles (274 kilometers) from New Delhi, the capital of India.
It's hardly surprising the area around Shoghi is a perennial favourite with travelers; the surrounding region features numerous captivating cultural and natural attractions. Baddi, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the east, and Panchkula, 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the northeast of Shoghi are also well worth checking out.
If the weather looks good, take the time to experience Himachal Pradesh's open-air exhibits.
If you're not the kind of traveler to take a break from work merely to shuffle between the pool and the buffet, the Shoghi area offers a number of high-energy pursuits such as mountain biking and ice skating. No getaway is complete without some down time. Wildlife watching is one of the activities they do to relax here and bird watching is another.
Take note, if your plan is to be in Shoghi around the 26th of Janurary, Republic Day is widely celebrated then and some attractions may have different opening hours to normal.
Sadly, vacations can't last forever, so when it's time return home, you'll find the nearest major airport in Chandigarh, 30 miles (48 kilometers) away.
