This hotel is definitely worth looking into. The breakfast provided was huge and well presented. There were eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, bagels etc. etc. Extremely clean facility and pleasant staff as well.

I found the Super 8 exceptionally well qualified for especially being a "budget priced " accommodation in a prime location, with close access to to the middle part of town. I was especially delighted with the continental breakfast. First time I have seen one serving eggs and biscuits and grave, along with the regular items waffles, cereals and pastries. The receptionist were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area where to eat, shop and travel the area. I have read a couple of the negative remarks of this hotel and did not find it all displeasing. I heard a couple of the other guest making favorable remarks also. Five star for the this Economy hotel.

Prior to booking through Expedia we had read a couple of less-flattering reviews of this hotel. After our stay here we are surprised as to why anyone would give this hotel a negative report. We found the staff friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was above the usual hotel/motel fare, and enjoyable. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Flea Market and other stores. The only downside on a very hot day, as we experienced, was the lack of a pool.

The hotel was clean. Tthe clerk was friendly, helpful and informative. the room was nice and there were no incidents to report. THe morning continental breakfast was plentiful and had abundant choices. waffles, cereal, fruit, danish, yougart, etc. the attendant was eager to please and quick to respond to questions.

My husband and I went to Shipshewana for our anniversary. We stayed one night and it was perfect for what we needed. It wasn't anything fancy, but we had a clean, comfortable room, complete with a very nice continental breakfast. We may just make this an annual trip.
