Ok hotel. Advertised as having a pool. It’s more like an oversized hot tub and it was broken. Paid extra for a hotel with a hot tub for nothing. Due to booking through Expedia the hotel couldn’t offer any discount.

The Choice properties are usually predictably nice and comfortable with good beds. BUT Expedia should not advertise one with a picture of hot food, and neither should Choice: the only hot thing was waffles - not the pictured eggs and meat. We chose Quality Inn based on those pics. We found they had re-designed the floor plan to eliminate the buffet and the normal wall pictures of food that we have previously seen at Choice Properties. I hope this isn't a franchise choice, to stop serving hot food!!

Expedia shows this hotel as "pet friendly" but does NOT disclose the $20 per day fee for having a pet in the room. This is hidden fee. I called the hotel about the charge to my credit card, they told me its their pet fee, and they told me they had contacted Expedia and asked them to disclose the fee so it appears to be Expedia's fault. This addiitonal fee is something everyone needs to know about in choosing a hotel, so it is clearly something Expedia needs to disclose with no further delay. With upcoming legislation, they are going to have to disclose hidden fees or pay fines, which I hope will become a policy that is enforced for the traveller's benefit.

I arrived after dark, so have no opinion on the surrounding area at this time. The front desk clerk was pleasant and helpful. I appreciated her giving me an inside room rather than a room that connects to outside, like a motel. It made me feel safer where I was traveling alone. The location is great in that there are a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Staff were friendly as always. The property is clean. I stayed in a room with an inside and an outside door this time. I see the convenience for my dog but also wasn’t really to my liking for sleeping (too many entrances to think about).

The location is good and the room was clean, but the property is showing signs of wearing out. The desk/table needs an outlet for charging computers, but there is an USB connection oon the bedstand. The bathroom was acceptable, but there were some blotches on the bottom of the door.

We were checked in for over 5 hours and then management came and let me know the room was double booked. We were woken up by this and had to spend an hour getting it all sorted out. I don’t understand the problem but it all worked out it the end I guess. Overall a nice place to stay

The staff member that checked me in was very friendly and quick. The door to my room had to be pulled a few times to be properly shut from the outside and inside. The breakfast was disappointing. It was much better at another location in Nevada. Particularly the potatoes were cold and the sausage was not tasty. I suggest having a microwave to warm up the food if needed. However, the orange juice was good. The mattress is clearly cheap. I think it’s time for a new decor as well. Surrounded by mountains and yet no view? Charged a service fee at the property even though I booked through Expedia. The hot tub was broken.

When I arrived to check in for 2 rooms, I was asked for my ID, which I provided. I was then asked if someone had checked in earlier in the day, since on e of the rooms was already occupied. I asked how that could happen if an ID was required for check in and got no answer. In addition I requested one room to be handicap accessible, and was not informed until check in that no accessible room was available. After about 15-20 minutes we were accommodated on the first floor, since the hotel has no elevator, still without an accessible room. Breakfast the next morning was disappointing, since the hotel was continually out of various items, and guests had to remind the attendant to refill, eggs, sausage, coffee and other items. Not a good example of hospitality.

Our check-in experience was excellent. It is just the condition of the property that is lacking. There are also was just a general musty/strange smell in our room. We stay here when we come through Sheridan, but only to save money.

Clerk refuse to tell me what my price was, scanned my credit and didn't tell me how much, even though the room was prepaid through Hotels.com. Also the breakfast was lacking in quality and quantity. Very unpleasant stay. The only positives were a good shower and comfortable beds.
