A STAR

Posted 1-Nov-2014
Pros: Professional, kind, friendly staff. Always ready to help. Wonderful facility. Coral reef. Professional, keen management.
Cons: Waiters serving to the beach are less in number and they do dfficult and hard work. More staff and incentive system might be used.
We stayed in Hyatt Regency Sharm for 9 days. I am not an easy to please type of person but I could not notice anything to complain about. I recommend this Hotel.

Fabulous location and great staff

Posted 30-Sep-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Rooms need refreshing and updating....also cleaning needs a little more attention to detail.
Location: The Courtesy bus service to Naama bay is an excellent facility and provides easy acees to all that the town has to offer.
We had a fabulous time with every amenity available that you could wish for on a poolside/private beach holiday. The staff were exceptional especially Tawfik, and Michael who provided excellent and very friendly service @ the pool and cascade restaurant and Ahmed our fabulous waiter at the Souk restaurant. Also a big thank you to George (Clooney lookalike) who took care of us at the beach front.. Only slight downside is that the room is a bit tired and in need of some refurb...notwithstanding that the resort is beautifully designed and well maintained throughout. We will definitiely return. Thanks to all for a fabulous holiday

Superb resort with stunning views defo a 5*

Posted 20-Sep-2014
Pros: The amazing waterfall style pools and the dining options.
Cons: Maybe a few more staff to attend customers waiting in reception area.
Location: Location was brilliant, hollywood attraction around the corner. You can easily reach naama bay, old market and soho square!
We stayed here between 7th sept - 14th september. The resort really is a 5 star restaurant with lovely restaurants to dine from. We enjoyed going to the souk restaurant every night for dinner. Like a little bazaar where you are given a bag of coins and you take it to the cuisine you want to order from and pay with the coins. They have performance every night. chef ahmed is a friendly guy and makes lovely stir fried noodles! The resort has a spa facility it was beautiful and enjoyed my swedish massage which they even gave us a 10% discount for. The staff there are friendly but reception area does get very busy and you have to wait a while to be attended to but it was ok. Breakfast was nice offer a wide selection of things. The resort has about 6 pools and a private beach all was enjoyable. Wouldnt recommend the facial at jasmines beauty salon though but go there if you want a shave or a pedicure! Amazing! Always cleaned the room thoroughly every night without a fail, room service team are amazing and very friendly. They have someone on the buggy always happy to drop you off infront of the resort or drop you right outside your room. I loved staying in hyatt and would definitely be returning!

A Place Called Home :)

Posted 15-Sep-2014
Pros: Loved the staff, they were really friendly and helpful :)
Cons: I would like the hotel to provide more entertainment and activites for their residents.
Location: Namma Bay is 5 minutes in a taxi - there a public beach there, loads of shops, bars and restaurants. Great place to have a night out.
My partner and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for 7 nights, Bed and Breakfast. The Hotel was amazing, it was the most perfect vacation. The Hotel is clean, facilities are great and the staff are very helpful and polite. We stayed in a double bedroom with seaview (although all rooms have a view of the sea). Room was really spacious with a balcony :) There are 3 pools at the hotel, one which is for adults only - great if you want a quiet space to relax. Staff were friendly and took drinks/food orders from the pool - great for when your relaxing! Would recommend trying the Pineapple Crush and Zombie - non-alcholic cocktails, they were yummy and refreshing! The restaurants at the Hotel have good variety of food, we especially loved Sala Thai and Cascada (outdoor pool restaurant). The breakfast was buffet style, was all very yummy, in particular the fresh pancakes :) Hotel is in a great location, about 15 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from Namma Bay :) Hotel provide their own shuttle bus (free) to travel to and from Namma Bay. Would definitely recommend staying here for couples and families for a relxing break.
