Set in a modern tower block, the Okura Garden Shanghai is fronted by an historic building in the Baroque and Art Deco styles. The Baroque-style mansion, with its Corinthian columns, is well worth exploring for its Colonial history. The business center features an original fireplace; the east entrance has a superb Art Deco staircase; and the ballroom has an original ceiling of decorative glass.
