“Very Impressed”
We were snowed in and the owner/managers of the hotel made this a pleasant experience and made us comfortable. The rooms and facilities were very clean and up to date.

My family and I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Shakopee on a recent trip to ValleyFair. We booked 2 rooms, and they were both very nice. This hotel was very affordable and located just a few miles from ValleyFair. Even though there was road construction in between our hotel and ValleyFair, it was quick and easy to get there. The only negative thing I have to say is, we requested these rooms next to each other and that didn't happen. We ended up being down the hall from each other. It wasn't a real big deal, but it was a request that I had when I reserved the 2 rooms. I would stay there again, and recommend it to others. We were very satisfied with the staff, the breakfast, the pool, the cleanliness, etc. Hope you have the same experience. :)

“A Real Gem”
When I booked our room here I was wondering why this hotel was only two and a half stars, yet the reviews were so good. Now I know. The service is impeccable, the property well maintained, and the location was perfect for our mini vacation. The star rating must be a formula rating that somehow does not count all these important qualities. I will stay here again. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is great, and the staff are as courteous and dedicated as you find at a 5 star hotel.
“Great staff, Great location...perfect stay...will go back with the full family next time”
This hotel is in a prime spot for anyone wanting to go to Valley Fair, the Renaissance Festival, Misty Lake casino or anything in and around Shakopee. All are just minutes away and the hotel is off of several primary roads. Staff was great! We got discounted tickets to both Valley Fair and the Renaissance Festival at the front desk. The hotel breakfast was very good with waffel machines, scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, etc.. Place was very clean and very well maintained!
“Nice neighbourhood in the suburb of the Twin Cities”
The check-in was friendly and really helpful - even I arrived at midnight at the hotel. He explained the some amenities to me (pool, spa) and also told me about the free breakfast in the morning. It was a real good breakfast they offered. It was including eggs, sausages, waffles, toast or bagels, Muffins and more. There was also honey, cereal and of course milk and coffee. Just the jam was something that should be changed to a different brand – since the outcome looked like tough kind of glue to me. But besides the jam, I can highly recommend the hotel to everybody else. Perkins and other restaurants/Fastfood are just a little down the street as well as Wallgreen’s and a SuperTarget being close by. All need in short distance.
