“Authentic Spanish feel.”
We picked the hotel as we did not want to drive in sevilles one way system, so we parked in a public car park just over the river ( expensive ) and got a taxi ( cheap) to the hotel. The hotel staff were extremely polite and friendly at all times. The hotel has open courtyards inside and we had our evening meal under an open sky next to an orange tree in a terracotta floored courtyard, it was delightful. We booked our meal as part of the room deal but we only had a limited choice and would of prefered to have gone with the hotel menu which was well priced. The room was very clean and pleasant with everything you would need. The heat at this time of year is almost unbearable ( Sept ) we had 40 degrees and even at midnight it was 32.5. Our favourite place was down by the Cathedral where we found a very good tapas bar and again for a city we found the prices excellent. The city itself is full of narrow streets and alleys with very old buildings. It has a good shopping area and at night becomes very lively in the bars and cafes.
“Great choice”
Quiet location but only 10-15 mins stroll to Cathedral & Santa Cruz areas. Reception & Bar staff helpful & friendly. Interesting layout with 2 courtyards. Breakfast not included but bars & restaurants very close by including Santa Marta Cafe 1 min. away in the church square. Air conditioned comfortable room. 10 mins drive from Airport.
“Best Western Hotel Cervantes”
Staff were very friendly and always available to answer queries. They also spoke English very well, which was very much appreciated. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!
“First-rate Service”
The hotel not only had a beautiful interior in the typical style of a gracious Spanish residence, but the staff was extremely helpful with arranging a tour to the Alhambra, recommending restaurants, etc. There was also a nice mini-bar in the room, lovely breakfast buffet, and wi-fi available in the bar.
“The Heart of Seville”
When booking a hotel for our first visit to Seville, I wanted to ensure a central location so we would be able to walk everywhere easily in the three days we were there. The Best Western Hotel Cervantes was a perfect choice. Located in a quiet and tiny side street, I was initially concerned that being a chain hotel we would sacrifice in style what we gained in location. My fears turned out to be totally unfounded. The hotel is charmingly done out with the best rooms situated around a pretty Spanish-style covered courtyard where you can take coffee or cocktails in the most tranquil of settings. Our room was on the small side (not something that bothers me) but contained everything we needed however my Mum's (which wasn't located around the courtyard) was more spacious, both were comfortable and clean. The hotel serves a varied breakfast in a small dining room and it was here that we encountered the one and only down side of our trip. In general the staff of the hotel were courteous, polite, friendly and welcoming but in the restaurant we asked repeatedly for a cup for coffee and waited half an hour at which point we decided we were being deliberately ignored. I couldn't tell you why but such was the success of our trip up to that point, we ended up laughing about it! I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would certainly choose it again myself as I am sure I will go back to what is a really beautiful city.
“Fantastic Hotel”
The pros: 3 star price for a 4 star hotel Classic hotel with recent renovations Located just 10 mins walking from Alcazar and Giralda Free wifi Coupon for free drinks when you arrive The cons: hotel can be a bit hard to find Overall: This was our favorite hotel during our 2 week Spain trip. Great value for this type of hotel.
“Hotel Cervantes--fantastic and fabulous”
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The inside gardens are a paradise. The architecture and the spanish tiles and art pieces all added a special touch. It was relaxing, quiet, and well located so we could walk to all the attractions. This will be my first choice for a hotel everytime we return to Seville. The restaurant was great. I consider the chef a 5 star chef. The weather was balmy, so we could sit out in the patio and have drinks and enjoy the beauty. The personnel were so helpful and friendly in every way. We can hardly wait to come back.
“BON HOTEL”
Bien placé, tout se fait à pied si l'on aime marcher.Hotel classique, propre.
“Comfort in Seville”
A clean, comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of all Seville's attractions. An ideal hotel to use as a base for sightseeing and in a quiet area so also restful. I would use this hotel again.
“Beautiful clean hotel”
Excellent room, good location, good price
