Highly recommend, would stay again! Walking distance to metro, shops and dining options, friendly staff, reasonable sized rooms, and great self laundry facilities. Good breakfast options - mix of Western and Asian cuisine options. Can hear traffic but didn’t impact our ability to sleep. Would suggest cab from airport as the walk from Sinsa station with a large suitcase isn’t ideal, and isn’t sheltered from any rain

I didn’t like that I waited half an hour for them to check me in. At first they said I didn’t have a reservation. So I showed them my confirmation. It still took them over half an hour to confirm and give the keys to my room. They didn’t acknowledge that I am a travel agent and show some courtesy because I can send them many future clients. I asked to change my keys because my roommate misplaced her key, they wanted 10000 KRW I asked for an extra blanket they wanted KRW13000 They wouldn’t let us drink nor eat anything in the lobby if not ordered from the hotel. The keys to the room is designated to your floor. We were a party of 12. We had 6 rooms in different floors. We could not go to each others’ rooms because we had no elevator access to other floors. They should have put all of us on the same floor if we cannot access other floors. My girlfriend needed medicine and i could not go down to give it to her. We both had to meet in the lobby. The elevators are messed up. U scan the key u press the floor it opens at a floor then will go up again even if u pressed lobby. Am very disappointed

This hotel absolutely surpassed my expectations! I booked and stayed for 20 nights and could not be more pleased. The hotel is relatively new. It is beautifully appointed and the staff went above and beyond what I’ve ever experienced. They were warm and hospitable and helpful with all my questions and concerns. My stay included breakfast and the restaurant had an amazing breakfast with everything from a made to order egg station to traditional Korean dishes to amazing fresh pastries and fruits. The location of the hotel is central to walking to the subway and for shopping and dining. The room itself was clean and comfortable with extra perks like the daily restocked complimentary drinks in the mini fridge. Hotel had the convenience of a very clean laundry room for guests and each floor had its own communal kitchen. I am already looking forward to another vacation in Seoul and would definitely come back to this hotel. I loved it!

Voco is the perfect boutique city hotel. Great location within Gangnam only 5min walk to Sinsa metro station and meters away from Garosu Gil with great boutique shopping, bars & restaurants. The breakfast buffet is excellent and much more than you’d expect from a smaller hotel. We stayed in a Queen room as a couple and had enough space. Our room was not towards the main road, so very quiet. Comfy bed and well designed, practical room. After the first day we even gotten used to the heated toilet seat! Staff (like all Koreans that we met) was super friendly and helpful. If you want a super clean, modern and convenient accommodation for a city stay then Voco is your place.

This hotel is remarkable compared to the hotel of the same category. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is very. The evening dinning room staff are really nice and ready to make suggestions. I will definitely go back and would recommend this hotel.

Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel is quite new, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, I wish the room was a bit larger, as it was a bit difficult to manage our luggage, especially since we had one large suitcase. While some of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, there were a few who seemed to lack a service-oriented mindset, evident in their tone of voice and facial expressions. Nevertheless, I still recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for accommodation close to the Gangnam area.

Great location and comfortable stay
Nice hotel, as expected with 4-star standards. Complimentary mini-bar and amenity restocks are great. Cleanliness was good overall though we found some crumbs on the floor. Quiet most of the time but possible to hear guests walking or talking in the corridor occasionally. Location is fantastic for plentiful food and metro/bus transport options (< 5 min walk). Airport limousine is also rather nearby (ask the reception for the timetable). Some difficulty in getting to and from Sinsa station with luggage as sidewalks are not level and there are multiple small crossings.

A centrally located boutique hotel in Seoul
We were impressed by superb professional service quality & cleanliness of Voco Seoul Gangnam, which is an IHG Hotel. Due to its convenient location, we could visit several major tourist spots in & around Seoul easily, during our stay of five days in this Hotel.

The room is clean and they have good beds. I stay for a week without issues. Breakfast was good with different food every other day. Location wise, if you walk across the streets, they are plenty of restaurants and cafe. No shopping area.
