Property was reusing used hygiene products (soaps) and other things. Also I was informed that I could not negotiate for a partial refund as my stay was cut short and I needed to fly back to the US for a emergency

I must say that even though this hotel is not in a famous area, the metro line accessibility is really good. I could easily go to many places. The service was GREAT. The guy from reception helped me a lot to get around, he even walked with me to the nearest metro station.

The staff are friendly. However the room condition was very basic with no bath towers the first day until we asked for it. The bathroom has no bathtub to prevent shower head water shooting everywhere. The bed is very hard and room is small. We were charged over $100 per night but the condition of the room only matches 1-2 star room at $50 per night room . We called the owner asking for some credit back for the first two nights we paid and hope he’ll honor our request with the help from Expedia. The location is fine.

This is New World Hotel. There are quite a few guests who do not need bath towels. Therefore, we provide it when necessary. Also, if you need a bathtub, we can provide it for you if you let us know first. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Great location. Close to a couple of different subway lines, so it was very easy to navigate around Seoul. Great view of namsan tower from outside our window. Great food places close by. Facilities are a little dated and could be cleaner. Otherwise good value for money. Room was spacious.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and even helped us in English (we are spoiled foreigners for sure). The room was adequate and affordable. There didn't seem to be an outlet readily available to charge our phones though...

It was a basic Korean love motel. The bathtub has no shower curtain to prevent water from your shower from getting all over the bathroom. The shower was powerful, though. They only have small hand towels instead of bath towels. The bed is hard.

It is not a family friendly establishment. The amenities were alteady used when we got to the hotel. It looks like a motel for 1 night stands or guys that are backpacking. Also seemed slightly shady and they had 1 key per room. Like an actual key that you would get to use the toilet in a fast food joint. The beds were hard as rocks. No refunds and the staff does not speak English at all.

We stayed a week but would not go back because the high price we paid is not reflected in the quality of the hotel or the service which was only satisfactory on the last days of our stay. Location and room size is good and reception staff [poor english speaking] tried its best to help but room service should have been better. Also the furniture has seen "better days" and needs and upgrade.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful with providing information about the hotel room and facilities. The hotel is situated in the Yongsan district and is very close to Seoul Station both by the subway (one stop Line 4) or two stops by bus. I enjoyed my time at the hotel very much and would stay here again. Thank you to all the kind hotel staff.

It's a quality hotel, off the beaten path. It's near some college bars, adjacent to a subway stop, and not far from Seoul Station. It's not embedded in a super-happening neighborhood, but that's reflected in the price, and it won't take you long to get to one of several.

Simple, hassle-free hotel, with great location
I had arrives earlier than the check-in timing but the staff told me they will prepare a room and I would have to wait. After some walking around the area around the hotel, the room was ready. The room is basic, nothing extraordinary, a place to sleep, watch television if yoy want as there are plenty of channels. There is a PC as well. It is possible to request for any amenities you want and even food delivery at the counter or through the hotel phone. Generally the place is good for it's price. It is what it is. They use a key and not a keycard by the way. Bars and places to eat are nearby, including convenience stores or cafes, no 24hour cafes if that is your thing. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Inexpensive hotel near Namsan
I always stay here when I come to Seoul. It's a no-nonsense, easy-going hotel. If you need to be near Yongsan and Seoul Station, this place works great.

cheaper place to stay
Near subway station, also near Yongsan base and close to attractions by subway. Staff was helpful and friendly and called taxi for us to get us to the US Embassy. My intent was to find a cheap place to stay and leave my car and just take the subway/taxi to the sites. Subway is about 2 blocks. Bed a little on the harder side. I was in the deluxe twin. My use was just a place to sleep for a low price and close to the subway station and the base. For the price, I would consider this hotel again. Wifi was fast and good, so happy with internet.
