It has to be one of the better hotels in Myeongdong, worthy of a 4 star rating. The rooms were generous and very nicely presented, bathroom was a reasonable size, toilet has a bidet. Hotel has a lift which is really important. The foyer was nice, staff was nice, professional and helpful. Check in was easy. The entrance to the building was a bit tricky to find, especially if checking in at night for the first time, but not bad.

Its kind of in a odd location with winding alleys around it but it was safe and quiet. Its close to two subway staions so it was easy to get around. The room was very clean and had nice features.

A little difficult to find but a great place to stay. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault the room other than to maybe provide a shower curtain. All in all a wonderful stay and would definitely return to stay here if visiting Seoul again.

The room was far too hot at night time especislly due to the central heating and not being able to individually adjust room temperature. As a result, we had to open the windows with temperatures around minus 10 degrees Celsius outside. The clash between the two led to us getting a serious chest infection and ruined a significant part of our holiday. The staff were pleasant enough but they said there was not much they could do about the situation. Apart from that the hotel is in a central location and the shower was powerful and the best part of the service. The room decor was in need of TLC and the breakfast needs to be more authentic to be worth the charge.

This is my third stay. I love this hotel for a number of reasons, the rooms are excellent, cleanliness is perfect, the staff are friendly and helpful and it is ideally situated for the lical transport and within walkable distance of many interesting places. I will be planning my 4th visit for next year.

The room was very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and was quiet. The hotel was only a 5 minute walk away from a subway station so well located for getting around the city. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Basic and simple room. Very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is decent and location is very much walkable to all main attractions. The bathroom is tricky to use though as there’s no shower curtain and water spills all over after taking the shower. It can be very slippery on the tiles.

Even though hotel is located in a small street and has no particular view, at least from the room I occupied, it is at a walking distance to tourists sightseeing and famous commercial area. Breakfast was standard, nothing exceptional. The hotel is fairly clean and staff was very nice. I would surely consider this hotel amoung my future choices if I will visit Seoul again.

Our first room was dirty and not as advertised, so we requested a second. The second smelled like smoke, so we requested a third, which was (finally) satisfactory. In addition to ensuring rooms are clean, Hotel Nafore should put curtains in the showers, because it's impossible to shower without getting the bathroom floor wet. Breakfast is okay, but could be better. (More fruit options, better pastries). Overall, a decent experience, particularly for its proximate location and price point.

Great option
Very comfortable and affordable place to stay - attentive and friendly staff; good buffet breakfast… at first I thought location was strange (labyrinthine streets with lots of metal-work shops) but I liked it more and more every day. It is close to 3 subway lines and endless food options.

i enjoyed my stay here! it is perfect boarding who just need a place to sleep and bathe, though i’m sure there are other amenities to take advantage of if you so choose to! staff was friendly always saying hello and goodbye as you went about. location is a bit strange, especially if you aren’t used to alleys like that but i never felt unsafe, even at night. saw a cute kitty outside so that was a plus! definitely download naver maps!

Good location, place is clean and well-kept but the winning factor has to be their staff. We noticed on arrival they didn't have shower curtains; we asked reception and they confirmed they aren't usually installed. We requested for them before heading out, and when we came back that evening voilà, we had shower curtains in the bathroom. Thank you all!

The location was about 5 minutes walk from Jong-ro 3 ga station, lots of restaurants in 10 minute walk radius, and the rooms were clean. It's off an alley so you might have trouble finding it though.

Amazing stay in Seoul
Overall one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed during my trip. Location was great since it was just a couple minutes away from the nearest station. Price-wise this might be one of the best deals so far, all things considered. Staff was friendly and helpful. Love the “do not disturb” and “make room” options on the room pad. Spacious room with a somewhat decent view of the surrounding city buildings. Highly recommend.

Hotel room was acceptable, however breakfast was the same and not much variety, service was average, had my air con spoiled on 3rd day of stay and was not fixed till i check out, despite that staff managed to control temperature from their side and did their best to make my stay comfortable.

This propert was close to the river and not too far from the metro. It seemed in a bit of an odd spot that seemed mostly industrial during the day. We had a difficult time finding a place to eat lunch on the afternoon we arrived but it livened up at night.

This hotel was amazing for my needs. It was close to everything, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. I have recommended this hotel to every single one of my friends that want to travel to Seoul. Will definitely go back.

Reasonable Price for a Good Size Room
Hotel Nafore is my regular hotel I stay when I visit Seoul. Good size well-kept clean room and convenient location. Within walking distance to Metro Line. Reasonable price for a good size beds. Staff are friendly and eager to help. Many English-Speaking visitors and visitors from other Asian countries stay in this hotel.

My fav. hotel in Seoul
Hotel Nafore has always been my go-to hotel whenever I visit Seoul. It's conveniently located, close to many restaurants, convenient stores, street food venders, etc. Hotel staff is always welcoming and very helpful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who's planing to visit Seoul.

There's no shower curtain in the bathroom which caused some imconvenience in the first two days but the hotel can provide a curtain upon request which is good. There's water keep leaking from the bottom of the bathtub which makes the floor very wet. We need to walk carefully every time we use the toilet. The towels have a very strong smell of breach so feel very uncomfortable when using them.

Staff were friendly, very helpful and polite and their front desk is manned 24 hours. The location is just a little bit difficult to work out based on google maps but once we found the place and all the alleyways that can be used to get to it, the location proved to be very handy to everything. It is near a bus stop to/from the airport so it is really very convenient.

Strategic location. Great coffee.
Great location near Cheonggyecheon stream. walking distance from Jongno-3-ga through medallion stores. Just don’t turned wrongly in the alleys so you won’t get lost. They provide great free coffee you can grab everyday. Breakfast menu seems limited though, not worth it with the price

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is very convenient, just a short walk to Jongno(3)ga station, which is connected with 3 subway lines. Our room is spacious and comfortable. Best part - you can control the lights and air-conditioner easily on a remote controller! The facilities are clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. :) The hairdryer provided is one of the best ones I've used in hotels, and the body wash is non-drying and smells super nice. The route to the hotel from the subway station can be rather dark at night due to minimal street lights, but it's still a pretty safe area. Overall, we are very happy with our stay here and will return the next time we visit Korea!
