“Great hotel, convenient enough to all of Seoul and the airports”
Executive floor rooms at this hotel are awesome with a large table/desk (not pinned to the wall) that you can comfortably work at for a full day. The lounge offers good coffee all day long, and a convenient buffet breakfast (complete with omelet station) right on the same floor (16, ask). Staff is efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful at all times.
“Easily Accessible and Comfortable Stay”
I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very convenient to get to from the subway lines and the hotel itself was very nice with an English-speaking staff. Don't eat anything at the hotel though because the buffet and cafe were insanely expensive. Otherwise, this was a nice place to stay in Seoul and I would definitely stay again.
“A Home in Seoul”
Check-in was superb! A friend of mine was also staying at the hotel and the note they had for me was delivered to me. There was a slight mix-up on the room but it was quickly resolved. I left one of my baggage by the reception and they called me in the room within fifteen minutes to say they have kept it for me. Concierge was also wonderful! It felt like asking your best friends how to get from one place to another. They didn't recommend any pricey tours or anything as they understood we wanted to explore Seoul on our own, so instead they recommended shortest route on the train to places we're going, the free shuttle option. When we need a taxi, they wrote down the name of places we will visit in Hangul for us and hand to the taxi driver. Very helpful!! Free shuttle to Dongdaemun and Myeongdong is a great addition. Room service wasn't that bad. Housekeeping was good. The bathrooms are a little dated but the room smelled fresh. If you can do the Breakfast option, do it! The choices were pretty expansive and some selections change everyday so it doesn't get tiring. We had to be moved from the King's Buffet restaurant because they were renovating but the Maison de Chef option was as good. :) The pleasant stay made the already fabulous Seoul experience even more memorable.
“Great location, great service”
This hotel provide you with very convenient shuttle service right to the heart of Seoul every hour. The subway station is 5 minutes away. The staffs are ready to help you out any time of the day. One drawback of the hotel is wifi fee. If you are not booking for executive and higher level, you pay about $15 for 24 hours. When you go to the bathroom, you might not want to get off from the toilet. By far the best! The best feature of this hotel is the view. It looks just like a post card.
“It is one of very good Hotels”
1- Friendly Environment 2- Excellant services 3- Good Restaurants 4- Extraordinary front disk services
“Can't wait to go back”
We really enjoyed our stay. We had a strange electrical issue with the hall and bathroom light and within minutes they had staff in looking at the problem and trying to fix it. When they couldn't get it fixed we were quickly helped to another room that was even a little more spacious. The views from the hotel were so great! Only small disappointment was with the pool/hot tub it was for fitness only not play.
“Nice Hotel”
Nice hotel and may be a bit more reasonably priced than comparable competitors.
“great location”
walking distance to subway station. free hotel shuttle that takes you to about 6 key locations in downtown seoul was really convenient. will definitely stay here again.
“Modern elegance”
My husband and I stayed here while visiting friends in Seoul. The hotel staff was extremely helpful with anything we needed. The wireless internet was very convenient. Very close to subway stop! They offer a free shuttle bus to take you around to major shopping and tourist areas! Their bar's happy hour was a great deal because for a set price it included beer, wine, and cold & hot appetizers.
“A Fine Stay”
The Sofitel Ambassador Seoul was just what you'd expect from the Sofitel brand. The room was reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable. I gave 4 stars for service because the concierge desk was never staffed with an actual concierge. English was limited, but it was still much better than my Korean!
