Rooms are elegant clean and very nice. Ask for AC remote. Ours squealed after a while, so turned it on and off. Great restaurant and gym in building.

The hotel and the staff were fantastic!! The people smoking outside being loud and all the trash around wasn't a great sight.

The room was so hot, so I opened the window, but there was a loud machine noise and a constant smell of food mixed with smoke. It was like that the whole time I was there, and the room was covered in old dust in every corner. The kitchen appliances were sticky because the switches hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The thermostat didn't work at all, and it was like a sauna. My throat got dry and I even started coughing.I'm never going back there again though I like the location.

Turn off the fridge before you sleep. It woke us up with beeping noises in the morning. The hotel has many issues and it’s outdated. The hotel feels more like a 2 star than a 3.5 star. Cheap mattress and bedding. Pillow cases are slightly discolored. Slightly weird smell in the room and in the hallways. Sound proofing is so so. Weak hot water pressure in the bathroom sink. Fitness center is poorly equipped and it’s an unpleasant room in the parking garage on floor B3. Make sure to return the key card or they say they will charge 11,000 won. Overall it’s worse than in the pictures. Maybe ok for this neighborhood if the price is low but I recommend you consider other hotels or neighborhoods.

The hotel claims to be 4 star but it doesn’t provide conditioner, body lotion and other amenities ie iron and iron board and the safe was not operable. Staff needs to speak English better because only can communicate basic conversation properly. The rest cannot at all.

My go-to hotel in Seoul
There’s a reason this is my hotel of choice for Seoul trips, for over ten years and counting. The facilities and rooms are definitely a bit worn, I admit. But the staff, service, and convenience are so stellar that I continue to stay here. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cookware, dishes and cutleries. An in-room washer means I can do laundry frequently and the closet has a built in clothes drying rack (or you can request a larger drying rack to be sent to your room). A large grocery store is two blocks away and they will deliver your purchases to your room - you shop at the store and let them know it is the Artnouveau + your room number. No lugging groceries back, it’s free delivery, and you pick out your own supplies. Fantastic restaurants all around you, super close to subway and bus stops, a 24 hour convenience store next to the hotel. A separate living room and bedroom area in even the smallest rooms is nice. This hotel has huge rooms - larger than most other hotels I’ve stayed at for a fraction of the price.

I had to switch my first room because it was dirty, but the staff was accommodating and gave me a very clean room the second time around. The staff was helpful when i needed transportation until i figured it out but they were always nice and helpful. The restaurants surrounding the hotel were delicious, and its very close to the subway, bus station and it was easy to get taxis. I liked that they always left water after a room cleaning and would air the room out for me. Overall the 3 weeks i stayed was great

spacious but leave some room for improvement
The room was spacious and nice, and the decoration was classy. When I entered the room, the smell was a bit odd, but opening the windows made it better. The shower area could be bigger, but the washlet was filthy so I didn't use it. The dark flooring makes it difficult to see dirt, so it was not nice to find stains and sticky spots on surfaces.
