“Heaven is in the details”
This place is close to heaven...the attention to detail in this hotel is amazing. I love the Spanish-Mediterranean style, which even carries into the hotel rooms. The open courtyard and terrace are pleasant and inviting. The accoutrements in the bathrooms are above average. I rarely "steal" the sample-size products, but I LOVED these products. The lemon & mint bar soap left my hands silky smooth, unlike most bar soap. The hotel sits on a busy street and thus can be a bit noisy. I had a room that looked to the north and rarely heard the street, unless my patio door was open. The views off of the back of the hotel are breath-taking -- request one of these rooms. The food at the REDS restaurant is above average, but a little expensive for the quality. The wait staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and made excellent recommendations. The endive salad was the best thing on the menu. The spa is pricey, but unbelievable. The Jacuzzi and steam room is free to guests of the hotel -- I would recommend taking advantage of it.
“Wonderful beds!!”
Sedona Rouge is absolutely wonderful and I say this as someone who has traveled across the world. It's located away from the uptown portion of Sedona (which is nothing but a tourist trap)in West Sedona. Near great restaurants, great visuals, great hiking. We had a gorgeous view from our window. The staff met our every need!! And the price was spectacular, especially for everythink you get!!
“Awesome stay”
Comfortable, wonderful. Price was great for the level of accomodations
“I'll be staying here again!”
The service was outstanding and the room and hotel grounds were even better than it's four star rating! We had heard that "Reds" was the best place to eat in Sedona and were very surprized to find that it was part of the hotel. We were not disappointed! You could cut the steaks with a fork and they melted in your mouth!
“Ultimate Experience”
The hotel was absolutely wonderful beginning from the time we walked through the door to the room. It was very comfortable and to the point that I didn't hardly want to leave for the sightseeing we did each day. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The hotel was very peaceful and was convenient to all Sedona has to offer.
“Best hotel on our tour”
We stayed in hotels in Phoenix, Sedona, Grand Canyon and Monument Valley and this was definitely our favourite. Everything from the decor of the hotel and the rooms was very in tune with the surrounding countryside. We only stayed one night on the way to Grand Canyon and another night on the way back from Monument Valley en route to Phoenix. We wish we had stayed extra nights in Sedona, it a nice town in beautiful surroundings. We will come back to Arizona and spend more time in Sedona and definitely stay at the Sedona Rouge. Michelle at the bar introduced us to Old Creek Amber beer (excellent)and she makes the best Irish Coffee west of Ireland! All the staff were very friendly.
“outstanding”
Was very nice and quite stay.Like the idea that hotel was just far enough away from the main core area. Room was super clean , decor was nice , added with the fire place ! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Will come back again !!!
“Lovely Expedia find at the last minute”
Very well appointed and maintained hotel with lovely ambiance and personel. Just the right distance from the village of Sedona to be un-touristy enough to make one feel very special. Lovely spa too! We look forward to going back sometime in the next few years.
“A great place to stay”
This hotel is in a great location. Also, great view of the red rock from our room. I would go back and stay at this hotel.
“Sedona Rouge and Reds”
Had a great stay at the Sedona Rouge and their restaurant Red's was outstanding!
