“Quite satisfied”
Staff was efficient. Lobby was attractive, as were rooms. Very nice, large deck with view of red rocks.
“Spectacular Views”
This is a great place to stay in Sedona if you get a room in the building that is directly above the Oak Creek. From our balcony we had a fantastic view over the mountains. The landscaping around the hotel had recently been redone and is very nice. Same goes for the resurfaced parking lot. Our room was too far away from the office though to pick up the free wireless network but we could use the computer that had been set aside for guest use in the hotel reception area. The hotel is easy to find as it is right on the junction of Highways 179 and 89A. There is a fancy resort across the street that has a little mall with a Starbucks (same great views as from our hotel room)and a sandwich/bakery place which we found great for breakfast.
“Will use again”
The hotel had a great view. The staff was very nice and courteous. I will use this hotel again in the future
“Perfect Location, Perfect View, Great Value”
Our stay at the Cedars Resort was delightful. Although the motel is right at the "Y" in Sedona, we didn't hear any traffic noise in our room. It was a short walk to the uptown shops. We had a scenic view of the red rocks from our patio, and the sound of Oak Creek was a pleasant accompaniment to the view. The price was very reasonable!
“Great Views and Location”
There are great views from the balconies of the georgous red rock formations. A great location right at the "Y" in Sedona.
“Very Satisfied”
This hotel was in a great location, we didn't have to drive anywhere as shopping was within walking distance. The only thing that I was not satisfied with was the continental breakfast.
“Shota”
Very good location. Good view from room.
“Very Good Stay in Sedona”
This hotel was a great place to stay. The gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful with places to vist and eat. Room was large and clean with a view you couldn't beat. The pool area probably wouldn't please avid swimmers, but if you just wanted to cool off or lounge in the sun, this pool would do! We had a very good mexican/southwest meal at the Javelina Cantina. It was very busy for a Wednesday night in August, had to wait ~30 min for a first available table. I know the hotels were no where near full so i can't imagine the wait in prime season (which i think is fall). Beware of "visitor information" or "tour information" booths. These are often sponsored by hotels and will give you information but they are more interested in signing you up for a timeshare tour. "Spend 1.5 hours touring our new hotel and we'll give you tickets to that Jeep tour for free" Fine for some people, but we already wasted 30 min, trying to get "information" so we didn't want to waste another 1.5h on something we weren't interested in only to have to say "no" to a hard sell in order to get something free! Time is money!
“Convenience with a view”
The Cedars Resort doesn't offer any services (apart from an ice machine in the lobby) but it is located right in the center of Sedona and every room has a great view over Oak Creek canyon to the red rocks. Looking down from our balcony above the creek, we often saw herons flying from roost to roost.
“very nice and a excellent location”
