“Great Quality For A Reasonable Price”

Comfortable beds, flat screen TV, in-room fridge and the staff were all great. Access to a computer is also allowed free of charge -- unlike other hotels. The complimentary breakfast is also much better than most hotels. If you want to, you can buy some berries at the nearby Safeway and add these to your oatmeal or cereal. FYI Starbucks is in the Safeway as well.

“Not a suite”

The suite we rented was just a larger room. The room was nice and clean but the cleaning staff simply skipped our room the first day even though we specifically asked them to clean and left the 'clean now' sign in the door. I object to the member calling me 'honey' and being quite sarcastic about working only until 1 p.m. We did leave the room well before noon. The hotel has seen better days and is getting run down inside. The exterior has been well maintained and is beautiful but the rooms need some work. There are artificial flowers around the pool and that looks tacky. The continental breakfast is bleak with no butter or spread for the buns, which were stale. If you like cheap cereal and either a sweet roll or a bagel with your coffee or OJ, breakfast will work for you. If you have stayed at any of the chains lately, you know they are doing much more than that. Overall, I would recommend this hotel but only with the comment that it is not a suite, just a room. As well, skip the breakfast and get your own elsewhere.

“A very disappointing (and disgusting) stay.”

Our #1 priority was to stay in a place with a outdoor whirlpool. When we arrived, I asked about the whirlpool. The desk clerk said, "The spa underwent a renovation and it officially opened today." Which means when we booked the room, the spa was not in working order. Had I known it was undergoing renovation, I NEVER would have booked the reservation. As we got into the spa, the people already in it told us that the jets weren't working. I went to the office to report it, and the desk clerk said the guy who could fix it was coming back from an errand shortly. He came back and managed to get the jets working, but they stopped working about 15 minutes later, and never worked again for the rest of our stay. The next day, the desk clerk said that there was no one to fix the "short in the wiring" until Monday (we were leaving Sunday). You'd think THAT was the worst of our visit? You'd be wrong! It was chilly, so my friend and I asked for extra blankets, which were delivered to our room promptly. But to our horror, my blanket had a large fresh-looking smear of feces on it, and my friend's blanket had three fresh lipstick smudges. We reported it to the new manager (who had been transferred there to fix problems). He came to our room because he wanted to see it for himself. He was horrified. The manager was very nice and tried to be as accommodating as he could in this terribly awkward and (for him) embarrassing situation, but our stay at the Kokopelli Inn ruined our weekend getaway.
