“So Pleased”

It was dreary and rainy. A long drive up the coast and we were pretty tired. Apparently we arrived at the back door of the hotel. Things looked a little sketchy and I was a little leary of having to stay somewhere with a locked (what I thought to be the front) door. Once inside, I was absolutely delighted with everything. Front desk staff was friendly, warm cookies, a lovely comfortable room with a wonderful view and bath area. I could not have been happier and look forward to staying at the Watertown whenever we visit Seattle.

“Urban Oasis”

This hotel practically exuded comfort. From the sleek modern yet inviting lobby with fresh-baked cookies, to the unique entertainment carts, to the substantial breakfast buffet, to the design of the rooms: everything reminds you that you're not staying in just another chain hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again. The surrounding area does appear a bit sketchy at first glance but probably reasonably safe, with lots of pedestrians during the day (University District), plus they do keep the doors locked after 10 pm. Also, the locked (i.e. completely barred and gated) parking is a reassuring security feature. Lots of building construction going on (July 08) across the street with the inherent noise, but only during reasonable hours of the day.

“What a treat!”

I loved this hotel. I booked it last minute when my other hotel ended up being a scary dump. The rooms aren't huge but they are beautiful and comfortable. And the staff was fantastic in making recommendations and being accommodating to a couple of special requests I had. And as a huge perk, they have recycling in the rooms. I hope to stay here again.

“Great place to stay”

We loved this hotel. Comfortable beds. Classy rooms. Their "al a cart" program is wonderful and easy to use. We will stay there again.

“Will return soon”

Great place! I appreciated the unique room layout, amenities (robe, coffee, quality sundries), the secure parking, secure room access, and the great breakfast. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We stayed 4 nights. The final morning was a bit chaotic as the Hotel was hosting some type of conference, but it was fine. Great location in the U district...lots of great shops and restaurants within walking distance. I'll return soon with the kids and make use of the shuttle service to the Zoo and Seattle center.
