“Great hotel, Great location”
We went up to Seattle to enjoy the annual Christmas tree and Macy's Star lighting event at Westlake Center. Roosevelt Hotel is located about a block and a half away. We had a wonderful weekend in downtown Seattle and that was partly due to being able to stay at such a nice hotel. Very clean, VERY QUIET, and very centrally located. We will be back again.
“chilliwack”
VERY GOOD, WILL GO BACK IF I HAVE TIME
“Good location and price”
It's hard to beat the location and the price of the Roosevelt -- nearby hotels went for nearly $40/night more than what we paid. The room was comfortable and relatively quiet.
“Comfortable clean city centre location”
Close to the conference centre. Comfortable rooms and lobby. I would book the same location next year.
“Always a nice stay”
The Roosevelt is a nice boutique hotel right downtown, everything you need is walkable, nice shopping, restaurants, lounges. The hotel's corner rooms are very nice, large with lots of light. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was sufficient. The staff always has been very nice and professional.
“Kathleen”
In addition to the reasonable room rate and free parking, this hotel was a real deal in quality and location. I highly recommend it.
“Great find!”
Great find, close to Nordstrom & Westlake, light rail & theatre district. Good service and a suite for half the price of the Sheraton. If they would upgrade the bath fixtures, this would easily be a 4 star hotel.
“Good value, Great location”
Four of us were in Seattle for 5 days for a conference at the convention center. The location of this hotel is GREAT since it's less than a block away from the convention center. Some of the furniture are old, but the room is clean and the bed was very comfortable and free wi-fi really helps. The staff was very friendly. We bought some flowers from Pike Market Place, and the staff at the front desk got us a vase from their restaurant. I totally enjoyed the stay here, and would definitely come back here. This is an older hotel comparing to the Grand Hyatt or Hyatt Olive 8 nearby. So if you are looking for a hotel with a contemporary touch, this one probably will disappoint you. We really enjoyed the classic feel of this place.
“"So-So"”
The best thing about the Hotel was the location - right in the heart of downtown & walking distance from most things we wanted to see & do. The hotel is very old, which is fine in itself, but the room was very tiny & could have used some heavy duty cleaning - things like vents were quite dirty. The hotel is starting to look rundown & could use some renovations. They also charged $10/day for a mini-fridge. Most upscale hotels now provide fridges and microwaves at no extra charge. Free newspapers were supposed to be available at the front desk, but were gone before 9:00 a.m. This is the second hotel we've been to in the downtown Seattle area - I would recommend the other one (Red Lion).
“Better than expected”
I'm not familiar with Seattle at all, but this hotel turned out to be perfect. It is within walking distance of Pike Place market, Bennaroya Hall and the monorail and light rail train stations. There was a lot of choice around for eateries and I couldn't have been happier with the location. Our room was a large corner unit with a fridge and microwave. The only drawback was that the bathroom was on the small side. The hotel staff were very friendly and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
