“Adequate room and most reasonable in the area”

The hotel was OK. There was a lot of dust in the bathroom, no clock,no coffee maker,and the wi-fi doesn't reach every room. Had to go to lobby for wi-fi. Great view of water and steps from market. Reasonable overnight parking around the corner. Would stay again as it is half the price of others in the area.

“What a night mare, great location, but big mistake! time to renovate/update OR DEMOLISH!”

This hotel is in a great location in downtown Seattle, two blocks from Pike Place and walking distance to ballparks and space needle. However, the accomodations are from the early 1900's and there is still NO AIR-CONDITIONING, (hotel personnel remind you of this at every opportunity), no swimming pool, no continental breakfast, no WIFI etc. The place needs to either be updated and remodeled or be torn down to make way for a modern hotel at this prime realestate location. There is no guest parking available, and as a result, I got a parking ticket at 8:30am for not feeding the meter on time! The elevator is small, stinky, noisy and it takes minutes to get from floor to floor. The showers are super tiny and unusually elevated in the bathroom. We had the misfortune of staying while Viginia Street was being tornup and repaved. The hotel clerk gave us ear plugs to minimize the noise, but this did not alleviate the rattling and shaking we felt. The building sure took a beating from all the vibration on the street, i'm was relieved and surprised that it didn't collapse. This hotel made my wife feel greatly depressed and misearable, so i tried to stay away as much as possible. It did not help the cause that hotel personnel were rude, unprofessional and uncourteous - i think this hotel makes everyone feel like crap. NEVER AGAIN!

“Free parking not”

I thought it said free parking on the expedia site for the Moore so it was a plus but it became a minus when parking was at a parking garage a block and a half away and an expense. The room is small and no air conditioning which could be a minus in the hot summer days. Convenient to the Fifth Avenue theatre and downtown.
