“Great Pick, Funky Decor,Clean and COMFY”

This was my first time staying in Seattle, the hotel was a great location, only a couple blocks away from the space needle,EMP & duck tour. Multiple great restaurants within minutes walk from the hotel. Room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Single cup brewer with tasty coffee and popcorn everyday. In the afternoon the lobby puts out coffee and upside down pineapple cupcakes which was very tasty.I will stay here again and again. Only down side was that the builders obviously missed sound proofing between the door and the hallway, never heard any other rooms, but heard EVERYTHING in the hallway.

“Will stay here next time!”

Very clean, funky boutique hotel. Has everything that you need either in your room (ie fridge/microwave) or right outside the front door (ie food market, variety of restaurants). Kids enjoyed the pool and we appreciated the free internet access and parkade parking. The location is perfect for tourists. It was short walking distance to the Space Needle, the Duck tour, and the monorail to downtown. Felt very safe in the neighbourhood as we walked everywhere. Would stay here again.

“Great Hotel! Would definitely stay again!”

The Maxwell Hotel is a beautiful property in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. The location is great - we were one block from Seattle Center and within walking distance of many great restaurants. The room, with 2 queen sized beds, was very large and comfortable. The only "glitch" in our stay was that our bathroom, although quite large and beautiful, had no bathtub, only a walk-in shower. It was a little challenging to bathe my 3 year old since we are used to a bathtub. If you have small children or prefer a bathtub, you should ask the front desk before you reserve your room. I do not know if all the rooms have walk-in showers or not. The shower was not a deal breaker for me - the hotel is beautiful, in a great location, with a friendly and very helpful staff. I would stay here again and again and again!

“Seattle Gem!”

The Maxwell Hotel was all that we were hoping for and more! The lobby was beautiful and inviting. The front desk personnel were all very helpful and kind. We received a list of nearby restaurants, along with several personal reccommendations. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless! These two qualities alone made the stay a worthwhile one for me! Graham, at the concergie, helped us plan and map a sidetrip to the Hoh Rain Forest area in the Olympic National Forest. Several individuals at the front desk told us about specific things to see and do in the greater Seattle area. We loved the fact that the Maxwell is close enough to walk to the Space Needle, but located in a neighborhood area that was quiet and charming! The Maxwell Hotel was outstanding in every way.

“Great experience”

We used the Maxwell Hotel as the base for a Seattle stay that included a trip to see the Mariners play (lose), a trip to Anacortes for a ferry ride to the San Juan Islands, and time doing Seattle things. It is in the Queen Anne neighborhood, which we found really charming and full of very nice shops and restaurants. The pool is small, but it's perfect for splashing around in. Likewise, the fitness center is small but perfect for a quick jog. We would absolutely recommend the Maxwell for Seattle visitors who are looking for a nice, relaxing, affordable hotel that is within very short walking distance of the Space Needle and Seattle Center, as well as within monorail distance of Pike's Market.

“A great find!”

Hotel was great - very funky decor. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Enjoyed the surrounding area for restaurants and nice and close to Seattle Center. Would recommend it to anyone and the price was very reasonable.
