“Going back to this great hotel in 2 weeks”

Beautiful little hotel. Boutique style, only about 20 rooms. Front desk staff extremely friendly. Room was large, beautiful, modern decor, and the bed was fantastic, extremely comfortable. ( I am an airline pilot, and have slept in many). Everything worked properly in the room, air conditioning, ceiling fan, room darkening blinds. etc. Located in the up and coming "Belltown" district, full of cool restaurants and bars, which I would not have found unless I had stayed there. The hotel is about a 6 block walk diredtly northwest of Pike Place Market on 1st street. Has a large restaurant/bar on the lower floor, and a theatre in the basement floor, which runs a current film. Does not have pool/gym. Will be staying there again soon.

“HULK HAD A SMASHTASTIC TIME!”

I had to do a massive amount of coverage of pax prime which involved me leaving and returning at the strangest times. the staff were excellent, kind enough to watch my stuff while my plane was delayed, and the room was fantastic. a must stay in my opinion

“Nice hip hotel”

I would stay at this place again if visiting downtown Seattle. Book early b/c there aren't many rooms at this small place. The sign is very small so it's a bit tricky to find. Close to lots of restaurants, bars, the water, a great community garden. Super comfy bed, nice leather furniture, nice big clean shower, and a fancy sony LCD tv. They even give you a complimentary cd, bottle of water, and cookies. We only stayed one night, but this place would be great for an extended stay too.

“El Goucho”

Located close to Victoria Clipper. Some great restaurants in the area. All rooms are on the second floor over the steak house. Room was very nice and bed was very comfortable. Walking distance.to Space Needle and Pike Place Market.

“Charming Belltown Boutique Hotel”

The El Gaucho is a unique small hotel. The rooms have a strong design aesthetic...stylish yet very comfortable. The hotel is well appointed with quality furniture, sheets, audio and television, bathroom products. The neighborhood is fun and there are great restaurants nearby. Street parking is easy overnight. Being a small hotel, it lacks a fitness room and some of what is common at a more "common" hotel. definately recommend this place.

“surprised by the inn”

A bit worried when we arrived at the hotel, seemed a little odd it was above the restaurant El Gaucho but when we were shown to the room, it was wonderful. Great view of the harbor, comfy feather bed with down comforter, and nice room amenities including very nice wine glasses, Bose sound system and delicious chocolate chip cookies. Great location, walkable to many different restaurants near Belltown. Go to Local 360 for dinner, amazing locally grown food superbly prepared. Would definitely recommend to friends to stay here and would stay here next time we are in Seattle!

“Seattle's Best Secret”

Ultimately the best hotel I have stayed at in Seattle. Reasonable prices with extraordinary guest services. If you seek a more intimate hotel setting in a great area, I would recommend and definately stay here again.

“Brilliant”

I was delightfully surprised when I found the hotel exceeded my expectations. I have become wary of selecting on the internet. I lower my expectations as often the images and description are oversold compared to the experience. This was the exception. The staff were very impressive in their gracious, helpful manner. The rooms were excellent in every way. I loved the beds, sooooo comfortable. Very stylish and spacious, with beautiful appointments. Great location, great views. Great tips on places to eat. Business needs perfect in the rooms.

“I just love the feather beds!”

Great location! We walked all over Seattle: Pike Place Market and Seattle Center, tons of shopping, eating and stuff to do to the are a just a few blocks away! There is a convenient store across the intersection for snacks and must have's. Beautiful room, the bed was beyond comfortable! Feather beds rock! I didnt spend much time in my room , but it really was fabulous (not handicapped accessable though, only stairs,no elevator and small doorways) Only complaint I have was their checkout time. We left our luggage in our room and went to breakfast. We were back by ten thirty am and found that our room card keys were de-activated and I had to find a maid to let us back in :-(
