“a four star hotel with five star quality; Kirkland's best hotel; can't wait to go back”
We read good reviews about this hotel and we chose it. Our own experience was beyond expectation. The hotel location, customer service, bed comfort, room size and room amenities were all great! The best restaurant in town, Trellis, is a part of this hotel and we had the best trout and veal rib chop ever! They also provide a unique guest experience with complimentary local transportation. Definitely, a five-star quality and experience with a four-star price! We will definitely go back and do recommend this hotel to any one traveling to Kirkland.
“great hotel!”
i would love to go back, but a few things (albeit small) might lean me to considering going to another one next time. We ran out of tissue paper in our room, and room service just took away the empty box and didn't replace it. Another thing to note is that there is a hefty gratuity tacked on to your bill if you are ordering for room service instead of eating at the dining area. the room was big and clean, and came with a balcony! we got the free valet and $40 breakfast promotion and it was excellent! if i go back, i'll wait for that promo again. :)
“Fabulous Hotel”
We can't say enough about the hotel. Outstanding customer service, beautiful rooms, great restaurant on site and located in such a beautiful setting. We were upgraded to a suite without charge and treated to all the little touches - coffee press in the room, robes, crab apples in the foray and bikes on site for free use. 5+ stars!!
“Excellent Experience”
The Heathman is a wonderful small, boutique style hotel located in the quaint downtown area of Kirkland. There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel itself is modern, clean and comfortable. The rooms were on par with expectations of a high level four star hotel. We also found the service to be very good, and shortly after we arrived we were thereafter always greeted by name by the valets and front desk staff. The on-site restaurant was excellent and a good value considering the quality of the food. I would stay again without hesitation.
“Best in Kirkland,WA!”
Our first visit to the city was wonderful in part to the fabulous HH staff! I had a package delivered to the hotel before we arrived and the staff saw to it that it was in our room when we checked in. Each morning we had the Kirkland breakfast in the restaurant and with the generous portions of fresh fruit along with the meal, we couldn't ask for more! With the convenient location, we were able to walk to nearby shopping, food, and shoreside sunset views! The availability of bikes at the hotel offered another way to see the city and enjoy the weather. We can't wait to go back!
“A Fantastic Stay At the Heathman”
We stayed in a Classic King room and it provided everything needed. Don't expect a fantastic view, but the room, service, ammenities will make up for that. The bed was extremely comfortable, pillow menu so you will get the pillows that are right for you. Bathroom did not have a tub, but rather a large marble shower, with a rain shower faucet, glass doors (which you may not like, as there is not a separate toilet area). Also, be careful if you are in the shower and have not closed the door to the bathroom and someone opens the door to the hallway...full view. Gilchrist and Soames ammenities, plenty of thick, soft towels, soft toilet paper, good mirrors (although no lit magnifiying one.). There are bicycles to use, which I did and went on a ride through some of the residential area down by the lake. My husband used the fitness room and he said the equipment was good quality for a hotel. Did not make use of the steam room. WiFi is free, there is easy access to use a computer/printer -no charge. Parking is reasonable ...sure beats Seattle. We took a bus into a Mariners game and it was so easy and only cost $11 round trip for both of us. We had a drinks and an appetizer at Trellis, the hotel's restaurant., during Happy Hour. Great service, but was not thrilled about the food. I have heard others say it was really good. The Heathman is the place to stay.
“Absolutely impressed”
We stayed at the Heathman Hotel for 3 nights, celebrating our 4-year anniversary. I had requested a quiet room, and we certainly got one: at the top floor, and end of the hallway. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and cordial. We were greeted every time we entered the hotel. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and the smell of the flowers welcomes you as you enter the hotel. The rooms were roomy and quiet, furnished in modern style. The hotel restaurant served great food, and the restaurant personnel provided great service. My special thanks goes to Brandi, Director of Rooms, who accommodated my request for surprising my wife with rose petals in the room, and when I asked about the charge, she said it was on the house! I give the hotel and its staff a solid 5 out of 5. What a great hotel. We will certainly go back the next time we're in the area.
“Can't wait to go back!”
What a wonderful surprise The Heathman Hotel was! We needed a place to stay close to The HerbFarm Restaurant in Woodinville and The Heathman is what ended up being the closest that seemed to meet our standards. We couldn't have been happier! Their amenities were superb and every one of their employees we met far exceeded the service we've received anywhere else. The Hotel is located in a great spot for walking (or riding one of the bicycles they provide their guests for free) around the lovely marina section of Kirkland. Beautiful Lake Washington is a short 2 - 3 block walk with plenty of great shopping and places to eat in between. We can't wait to go back!
“5 good days”
I just spent 5 days at this hotel and though it was a longer stay than I had intended I made the right decision. Great staff, super food and a great location. I would return to this hotel.
“Excellent hotel-Would love to stay there again!”
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Heathman Hotel. We were very impressed with all aspects of our 3 day stay there. The hotel is located in a beautiful area next to Lake Washington. We had a delicious dinner at the Trellis Restaurant located on the hote premisesl, but there are numerous other nice eating spots and nice shops within easy walking distance of the hotel. My only minor disappointment was the daily parking fee charged by the hotel that should be waived if you stay more than one night, considering the room rate.
