“Edgwater is a great place to stay on the waterfront Seattle”
I chose this hotel for its history and because its right next to the NCL Cruise Dock Pier 66 at the Port of Seattle. They'll even take your bags to the ship for $10pp. We got in a little late, 9pm, but we wanted to go to the Pink Door Italian Resturant. We were amazed to find out that the hotel offered to take us tot he resturant or anywhere in downtown Seattle at no charge. We got the city view room. A little small but very nice. The bathroom was stone and glass and very well appointed with modern and 1930's charm. (be aware that trains come through downtown all night and do blow their horns). The resturant was very good and it overlooks the bay...you're right over the water. I would come back.
“If you stay in Seattle, stay at the Edgewater.”
The hotel was great. The staff was attentive, polite and well coordinated. Staying there makes a trip to Seattle worth it.
“Beautiful & Romantic!”
What a wonderful setting, beautiful and romantic. Everything was perfect.
“Edgewater”
Great hotel for a romantic weekend away! Would not recommend this hotel for families.
“Didn't want to leave!”
The hotel was better than I could have wanted. I am pretty picky when it comes to the room, location and the restaurant food. All were exceptional and in fact we ate every meal there.
“Our favorite hotel in Seattle”
The Edgewater is so relaxing. The location is great, but what really makes the hotel special for us are all the rooms on the water. There's something so nice about being able to relax with the water right below you, or drink a glass of wine overlooking the water, or have breakfast overlooking the water.
“Lets do it again”
The Edgewater more than met my needs and expectations. The room I had (city side, king bed, 3rd floor) had an excellent view of the city and an even better view of the Space Needle. The I service had at the edgewater was second to noon. A little personal touch i enjoied was the valet parkers remember my name, and would chit chat about the weather or ask how my day went. Although I did not want a bay side room (prefer the sounds of the city) I would recommend it. The bay side room has a very...hmmm... honey mooner view, snowcaped moutains, moon/sun reflecting off the water. Overall I had a great stay at the edgewater, on a scale from 1-10, easy 9.5
“Sleeping in Seattle!”
Excellent hotel with very attentive staff. Ask for a waterside room - amazing view of the sound. Wake up some morning and see a cruise ship in your window and never hear it dock. 1 Criticism, the cook needs to learn how to make an omelet. Excellent dining room and service. A very relaxing stay.
“Wonderful Stay”
We enjoyed three nights at the Edgewater in a balcony room. Perfect location to walk to all restaurants and shopping. Having happy hour on our own deck was great, the views were amazing! Cute room, fantastic bathroom and shower, and comfy beds. Will go again!
“Great place”
I have stayed at this hotel many times...waterfront rooms are fantastic.
