“Lots of character - and gret arooms!”
I would stay here again, quite some history and very nice rooms - that captures the old gentleman' club with the exploratory theme.
“Quality is their job #1”
From the first time we walked in, the staff was clear, concise and concerned with our comfort. We didn't try the restaurants, but the bar was very quiet. They are right on the bus route to everywhere, and within walking distance to the sports fields if you own a good pair of walking shoes.
“Loved this hotel!”
Loved everything about this hotel. The people were extremely friendly, the room was beautiful and comfortable. The best part was the subway entrance was just across the street and we could go anywhere we wanted. The "link" that goes to and from the airport was only a few dollars each. We would definitely stay here again.
“Will definitely go back.”
I was concerned with the price being so low, but the hotel was one of the nicest I have stayed in. Beautiful bathroom and decor. Great location, close walking distance to many attractions.
“Better Than The Pictures”
This hotel looked nice by the look of the pictures, but I was pleased to discover that it was even better! Spotless, cozy, sophisticated, and charming, the Arctic is now my favorite place to stay in Seattle. My room and bath were huge (just the standard King room) with the most comfortable bed and linens. The lobby and lounge area with fireplace is inviting and a nice place to wind down before bed. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will stay again, for sure!
“When returning to Seattle will go back to thid hotel”
Excellent hotel---Consierge service was excellent-best we have had in long time Beds were excellent and location in Seattle is second to none we travel to Seattle 4-5 times a year and will now use this hotel exclusively
“Perfect spot for the Seattle visitor”
The hotel overall was very nice. The bed was very nice (amazing if you compare to most hotel beds). The room itself was pretty cramped though, because of the king size bed. The bathroom was more spacious than I expected, but I got the room with the whirlpool tub. The AC unit was fine, but because it was cold (snowing), the heat mostly went out the window (they're very old and not insulated) and the rest of it went up to the top of the room (20' ceilings with no fan). It was nice to be able to open the windows though... I didn't expect that either. When it's nice out, it's amazing. The staff was all very friendly and the location of the hotel is just unbeatable. Half a block from the pioneer station (light rail + bus) that you can take straight from the airport (30 mins). Around the other side of the same block is a car rental shop so you can rent a car and return it on the same day to avoid the expensive overnight parking (self park is around 16$/day) and no, you do not have to use the valet, which is something like 30-32/day plus tips. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but the lounge area/bar is very nice. There's also a huge ball room that you should go see, just to see it. The street noise can be a little irritating at times, but you probably won't be in your hotel during the day and traffic dies down a lot at night. No emergency vehicles went past during my stay, but with the condition that the windows are in, I'm sure it would be pretty loud.
“Anniversary at the Arctic Club”
We stayed two nights at the Arctic Club hotel in downtown Seattle. The room was very reasonably priced through an expedia deal, otherwise we might not have been able to stay there. It is such a beautiful hotel, the lobby, the woodwork, the furniture, everything. Our room was also beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel had so much charm and elegance, without being at all fussy or overdone. The young men and women at the counter were very helpful and the cleaning staff were so friendly. We would love to stay here again!
“What a great find.”
Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel had tons of character, was nicely decorated, and was just cool. The beds were very comfortable, and they had nice towels. Only drawbacks were: the room service menu was somewhat limited; but what I ordered was excellent and delivered quickly. The lighting in the bathroom is dim. I hoped I wouldn't walk outside in the daylight and discover that I looked like a clown (applying too much makeup in the dark). And, the products are only Neutrogena. I usually enjoy trying a little higher end product at hotels. But, without a doubt, I will definitely stay here again.
