“Fantastic European Style Hotel Full of Comfort!”

The Sorrento is a fantastic hotel that I would love to stay in again. I visited Seattle on business and after a very frustrating day of airline delays and crazy cab drivers, the staff at the Sorrento was very welcoming and check in went smoothly. I was provided with a complimentary map of the area and the staff even suggested quality restaurants in the area to visit during my stay. Excellent and beautiful hotel, I highly recommend it.

“Great Hotel and Location”

Downtown and, although on the hill, it was walking distance to all attractions. Staff was great and handled all of our tourist inquiries. Lounge was a very nice stop each evening with wonderful music. We will be back.

“Cozy Elegance”

This is the only hotel I stay at in Seattle. It's elegant without being stuffy. It also has a more homey feel than any of the other classics in Seattle. No, it doesn't have a pool or serious exercise facility, but who cares after a few cocktails and hors deurves on the main floor. Later you can dream all your troubles away in what I believe are the comfiest beds of any hotel I've ever stayed at.

“A Hidden Jewel”

I took a chance and booked this hotel during the Christmas season. I've stayed at many of the larger hotels which can sometimes be so impersonable. I was immediately impressed on my arrival. The hotel staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They knew me by my name which made my stay very personable. I had booked a standard room which was spotless and bed was very comfortable with nice white linens. The closet was large and there was a desk and a small sitting area with a side table. I felt no reason to upgrade. I'm fond of white marble bathrooms and loved the bath products. The bodum coffee was a nice touch too instead of the usual coffee pot. The hotel is situated on a hill on the fringe of downtown but within easy walking distance. However, they do offer complimentary shuttle service if you don't want to walk. Everything about the hotel was perfect - wouldn't stay anywhere else.

“Old World Charm and Service”

The Sorrento Hotel is spectacular. No, it doesn't have a grand marble entrance way. It doesn't have central air conditioning. But it makes up for these 'short comings' with wonderful rooms, attentive staff and reasonable prices. The hotel is alive with history and is an absolute gem. I hope to return very soon.

“Beds to die for”

This hotel was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The concierge graciously bumped me up to a king bed. The elevator rug changes daily. It took me awhile to notice. The food was delicious. I had the Hunt Club sandwich with fries. So good. The location was perfect for me. Just walk a few blocks to the mall and hop on the monorail over to Seattle Center, or just walk a few more blocks down and you'll be at Pike Place Market. Now the beds were by far the best thing here. They are so fluffy and soft. There were around 6-7 pillows that were equally as soft and cloud like. Best sleep I've ever gotten at a hotel. It is right next to a hospital, but I hardly noticed. The slightest downside would be the immense workout you will get if you walk back from your outing. It's all uphill. But I had no trouble. Would stay here again.

“Exemplary service”

We loved this hotel. It is old, charming and beautifully kept. The staff was unfailingly welcoming and gracious. Every detail I could think of was attended to; from the french press coffee in the room to the selection of down pillows on each side of the beds. Hard to imagine staying anywhere else on our return.

“Great service with old building charm”

stayed 5 days in a junior suite. it was a decent size room with a small bathroom and a small tub. this is a old hotel with a very charming look and a bit funky aroma. the staff is fantastic and very friendly. I will recommend this hotel if you are not seeking a contemporary luxury elements for your stay.
