“Always as expected.”

I have stayed at the 6th Ave Inn many times over the years and have always been pleased with my stay. Even though it is an older hotel it has always been well maintained. The bar and resturant are very comfortable.

“Good location for Seattle”

You can walk to the Pike Market or to restaurants on the lake...the convention center and the city's fabulous library. The hotel is fine, parking is $15 a day, good restaurants nearby and stores for food and drink. Staff was good on eating recommendations, but then again, it is hard to go wrong here.

“Sixth Avenue Inn”

Courteous staff: Absolutely! especially at the restaurant! Rooms: The room could have used some upkeep, but was by no means nasty. The walls were old and chipping and the bathroom was small with a small shower and no bath..but who goes to Seattle to sit around their hotel room anyways?? The room was 100% adequate for our needs! Restaurant: Very friendly staff! the breakfasts are to die for! The "elevator special" was a low cost breakfast deal they had while we were there and is the perfect way to start your adventures in Seattle! Area: WONDERFUL! We only had to take a bus to the museum of flight. Every other major Seattle landmark is well within walking distance, including the space needle!! Definatley worth the money!

“A great place to stay at a great price!”

We were happy to be right downtown within walking distance of great restaurants and shops and very pleased at the reasonable price for the room. We were very comfortable in the room. The restaurant on site was very good too.

“Staff made us feel like family. Very comfortable and welcomed.”

We loved the ambience the hotel staff gave us which was friendly and feeling like home. An improvement would be the food in the restaurant which was not consistant. One day I ordered the light breakfast and the first day it was okay, but the second time I ordered it the food was warm, better displayed and more abundant. The first day I had a chicken breast sandwich and I removed the bread to eat it plain only to eat an over cooked breast. The waitress was upset that I did not complain but I was just toooooo hungry to do so. My suggestion is to have the chef do a better job in the kitchen so the serving staff doesn't have to be quality control. Most people won't complain. Other than that we loved the place and plan to return in the future. Any deals for next June?

“Why aren't you staying here?”

Our room was squeeky clean and better than we expected. We would not hesitate to return to this delightful hotel. We were in walking distance to evrything we wanted to see. We recomend it to anyone passing through or just seeing the sights of Seattle.

“Would stay here again”

We were attending a concert at the Jazz Alley and that was the main reason we stayed here. (it's right across the street) Wasn't sure what to expect since it was our first time - but was extremely happy with our choice. The gentleman that checked us in was very polite, professional and helpful. The hotel is older so the rooms are smaller but very well kept. They have a great lounge area where we had a drink before the concert and then came back afterwards - the bartender was fabulous! When we went up to our room for the night, there was a note under the door from the front desk telling us that they noticed we had a GPS that was visible and that we may want to consider hiding it or bringing to our room for safe keeping. We really appreciated that. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to our friends and family!

other then the extra charges for parking and for booking online it was great the customer service were very nice dont ask for a wake up call because they will call and leave a message on your phone but that is it
