“Frequent Seattle visitor”
Very friendly and helpful staff, willing to accommodate an early check-in resulting from a change in our schedule, everything clean and shipshape, in-room safe, free wi-fi, perfect location for our purposes
“Nice!”
The hotel is in a great location downtown, just a few blocks from the shops and transportation. Its a nice stay for the money. The staff is nice and helpful. I didn't notice any cleanliness issues.
“Would return”
Overall a very good experience. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The restaurant on the second floor is good as well. We would definitely stay here again.
“Good Location”
Extremely convenient spot, not the most luxurious but does well for short stay
“Great hotel dongón Seattle”
This Is really a nice place to stay, Well located, clean and Well sized rooms. would stay again.
“Sixth Avenue Inn more than adequate”
Took a chance on the Sixth Avenue Inn, but was pleasantly surprised. For half the price of adjacent hotels it was more than adequate. There are no big frills and, yes, they do charge for parking after 5pm, but even that is half the going rate and you can find street parking fairly easily to avoid it. The room was updated, clean. and comfortable. Have I mentioned how easy it was to walk to meetings and events all over downtown Seattle and south Lake Union? Our only complaint was street/hall noise at times, which we just ignored. There is even an on-site restaurant with respectable reviews and room service, although we did not try it due to the number of other good restaurants nearby. If you want a hotel that gives you all the basics (including free wireless) at very palatable price, this is the downtown Seattle hotel for you. If you want valet parking, a pool, concierge, etc., you will obviously need to go somewhere else.
“Enjoyed my stay”
Clean, well kept room, great location, great people who provide great service
“Not sure how I whiffed on this one”
This hotel was good in that I wasn't attacked in my sleep by rabid raccoons or crazed highwaymen. The foundation also seemed solid but I'm no civil engineer. From the outside, it looks like the motel from Reno 911:Miami - I wasn't sure what I was going to witness through the tattered curtains as I walked by. The lobby interior gave me a little hope, but that all disappeared once the receptionist informed me that their credit card machines were down. Not sure how I picked this one - I'm gonna hear it from my wife later. Don't be fooled like I was!
“Great place downtown!”
We thought it was a great hotel, good location not too noisy. The only thing I'd like to see different would be screens on the windows but the bugs aren't bad in Seattle.
“Good location, Old hotel”
The hallways and rooms had that "old" smell to them. Lots of hidden charges like getting a parking sticker and finding out two (2) days later there is a parking fee (the annoyed desk clerk wanted to argue over the fact that it didn't state anywhere about free parking) ((he must have had a bad day or shouldn't have direct communication with customers)).
