“Good hotel”
Very friendly staff and great breakfast
“Loved this comfortable, nicely decorated suite in Seattle”
This was my first time to stay at this Marriott. The suite with two flat screen TVs, full kitchen and balcony overlooking Lake Union was comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was very helpful and professional. The lobby was nice with terraces looking over it and a nice waterfall. The continental breakfast was deluxe with an assortment of hot/cold food (one of the best I have ever had) and many places to sit with various levels, plants, waterfall, etc. made for a nice morning experience. My only comment is that they could have had more upscale tolietries (shampoo, etc) in the bathrrom-rather basic. We would definitely stay here again, and longer if we could next time. I chose this Marriott because there were virtually no negative comments and it lived up to the billing.
“Very Nice for the Price”
This is a really nice hotel in a nice location with a great price. Breakfast buffet included and free hi speed internet. We had seemless transition to cruise ship via towncar service set up by hotel staff. Would recommend and would stay there again.
“Absolute satisfaction.”
From the moment I arrived to the day I left it was an excellent stay. The extra conveniences as a good breakfast before you start your day is great. We never had to worry about where we were going to eat first thing in the day. The hotel staff were more than happy to provide information. The tolley was right outside our door if we wanted it. The walk downtown was not that far. Pike market was in walking distance and many more attractions. I would be more than happy to book again with the Mariott. Highly recommend it. Thanks for our wonderful stay.
“Residence Inn Union Bay”
Convenient to the boat show. Courteous and friendly personnel. Upgraded our room. Nice pool and gym. Great morning breakfast. Clean and modern. Would stay again for sure.
“Great hotel with great service!”
I was very pleased with the hotel's comfort and service. The staff was helpful in meeting all my needs. I will stay here again when returning to Seattle.
“fun vacation”
Centrally located near many attractions. Wonderful staff and nice fellow guest.
“Great Lake Union View”
Excellent stay with friendly, helpful staff. Convenient to the Street Car system to transport to the downtown area. Lake Union is beautiful. Great restaurants surround the hotel--American, Irish, Sushi, Indian. REI is just a couple blocks away.
“A bit out of the way but worth the distance”
If you like the Residence Inns you will not be disappointed. The rooms are comfortably furnished, there is a separate kitchen (with a huge fridge), a nice sitting area with a lounge-sofa, and of course the separate bedroom which offers all the comforts. The kitchen was so well equipped I was impressed. They also offer grocery shopping service, something unusual and welcome for busy business guests who don't necessarily want to go out for dinner. There are a few restaurants around but they mostly serve steak or seafood. The breakfast at this hotel must be a main draw because it is very well attended. Early starts are recommended. Not as health conscious as my usual breakfast food but the hotel really strive to satisfy everyone. Hot and cold foods, the usual self-serve waffles station, etc. fresh fruit and bagels, etc. The eating areas are set on different levels or tiers so you can re-create a sense of privacy, something many couples and families will enjoy, as breakfast can often be a more intimate affair. The hotel also has a small grocery service by the front desk that carries canned goods such as soups and frozen entrees. Unfortunately, I never found vegetarian dishes there and that was a minus for the hotel. They can do better! The business center was practical and open 24/7. Front desk staff friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my stay. It is also a quiet part of town so you sleep well at night! Jogging around the lake in the morning also an option.
“Extremely satifying”
I was so pleased that I plan on making the Residence Inn my first choice in hotel selections when I travel.
