“Will stay at Red Lion Seattle again!”
Red Lion Seattle is very conveniently located at the heart of downtown just blocks away from Pike Place Market and the Convention Center. A great deal, especially considering that parking and breakfast was included. I would highly recommend this hotel for anybody visiting Seattle!
“Great Trip!”
We were in Seattle to watch Blue Jays baseball. The hotel location was perfect, we were able to walk to most attractions including Safeco Field. Take the Link Light Transit train from the airport to downtown. It costs just $2.75 one way. The Monorail is also located downtown at Westlake Centre. It just goes to the Space Needle for a cost of $2 one way. The "Duck Boat" tour was a lot of fun and the Undergroud Tour was also very good. The ferry ride to Bainbridge Island was a good half day trip. "Experience Music Project" is a music/science fiction museum located by the Space Needle. It has a huge tribute to Nirvana and Jimi Hendrix, plus Avatar and Battlestar Gallactica. Lots of good restaurants, pubs and coffee houses in the area. Pike's Place Market is a must see. Shopping galore downtown!! 5th Avenue Theatre is down the street from the hotel and has Broadway type plays. We saw "Les Miserables", good production, but not the best story line.
“Good rates, Great hotel”
Hotel in is the middle of the Seattle business district. For a 3.5 star hotel it is in excellent condition, clean, and quiet. Surrounding Seattle area is great for walking and safe. Will definately stay at the Red Lion again.
“Great place to stay - within walking distance to everything!”
This hotel was in such a great location! We never have a rental car when we travel and we like to have options in the area that we can walk to. This was a short walk to Pike Place and the Waterfront where there were endless options for dining and bar-hopping! The hotel has a terrace bar and a pub underneath so there were even options right at the hotel. Definitely would recommend this place!!
“Great View of the Bay”
I was very satisfied with everything that I booked through Expedia.
“EXCELLENT SURPRISE!!!!!”
My husband and I needed a hotel for only one night before catching the Clipper to Victoria, BC. I chose the Red Lion because of its' location and various reviews. Easy transport from airport to hotel via light rail, helpful concierge, beautiful room, nice breakfast buffet, restaurants, shops, Pike's Place Market all nearby. I would love to return for a longer stay.
“Quiet Rooms”
I am a person who wakes very easily, and have found that most hotels, regardless of price, are very noisy, especially with doors slamming shut next dor or down the hall. This hotel is one of the few that I have stayed (and I travel frequently) that is truely quiet on all fronts. A very nice location and a very quiet stay. Enjoy
“Perfect hotel, perfect location”
The only complaint we have with this hotel was the room cleaning service was on the slow side--once they did clean the room, it was very clean but over our 5-day stay, we had to keep asking for them to clean our room. Many times we left our room in the morning and when we would come back, the room was still not cleaned. A couple times, we had to grab our stuff and go down to the waiting area while the maid cleaned our room. Other than that, we absolutely loved this hotel. It was in the perfect location and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was newer and updated. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Seattle. Everything was close and convenient to the location of this hotel.
“Great to see central Seattle”
would stay again overall great value
“A Great Downtown Seattle Bargain”
The Red Lion was very attractive and up to date. All of the personnel with whom I interacted were helpful. Hot cider and Christmas cookies were available at all times in the lobby. I really liked the location--within easy walking distance of my favorite stores! The only minus was that there was only one comfortable chair in the room--to watch TV the second person had to sit on the bed! It was the least expensive of the downtown hotels in the location I desired, but it was still extremely nice, even luxurious.
