“I'd stay again.”
Lovely hotel, well restored. The staff are pleasant and helpful, The location for touring is great, very close to museums and the market.
“A terrific choice”
I've stayed at the Mayflower many times and have never been disappointed. Great value, great location, comfortable rooms, terrific restaurant and friendly staff,
“Great location”
All of the hotel employees were very helpful and kind. Great service and city information. Even though the hotel was very full it was quite and relaxing. The bar 'Olivers' has very good service and drinks. The location is ideal for site seeing. Easy walking distance to the Pike Market and wharf area, light rail, monorail and city bus system.
“Location ,Location”
Hotel very well located for public transport, being adjacent to the Seattle bus tunnel and to the monorail station in the Westlake Centre. Could board buses etc without going out into the weather. Concierge staff were highly competent and very helpful in solving problems. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
“One of the best for "old style" Seattle”
One minor comment: there was no light switch inside the entry door, which we found a little strange, but not a big deal.
“wonderful stay”
we enjoyed the hotel architecture, the great bar atmosphere and the convenience to belltown and market.
“Wonderful”
Wonderful! Convenience to everything was great. Can't wait to go back.
“First choice if staying again in downtown Seattle.”
Old hotel with lots of charm convenient to everything in downtown Seattle.
“A very good hotel”
This hotel was very comfortable, immaculately maintained, and convenient for sightseeing. It connects to Westlake Place, which meant we could get to and from the light rail station and the monorail to the Sky Needle without going outside. The only small problems were with service, with the good outweighing the bad. One caveat: Since the hotel connects to Westlake Place, which has a light rail station, we thought it would be easy to get from the airport to the hotel on light rail. It is--if you can walk a long way hauling your bags. Also, the trains don't really have space for large suitcases. If convenience is important to you, don't take light rail from the airport to the Mayflower Park. After a long day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to return to such a spacious, comfortable room, with comfy chairs--even a foot ottoman! If I go back to Seattle, I will stay there again.
“perfect downtown oasis”
I took my husband to the Mayflower Park Hotel for a special birthday weekend. We loved the location of the hotel. We took the bus into Seattle and carried our minimal luggage with us. The Mayflower location enabled us to walk to all our desired Seattle destinations while still enjoying a comfortable and quiet ambiance. We really, really enjoyed our stay.
